Well to me Cullen in DAI.. isn't that handsome. He's not bad looking but I prefered DA2's looks. I'm looking forward more to see him as character than drooling over him XD I think I'll drool still.. but more about the fact that he's Cullen and has Greg's voice than his looks.
If he was totally unattractive in looks, well it'd be odd to me to romance him. If his character was still as good and well had Greg's voice I think I'd still romance him ^^;

The consensus seems to be that Cullen and Lelliana have aged pretty well but poor Morrigan has polarised some opinions.
In my opinion, Cullen has grown into himself, we have the benefit of being able to see the changes, almost gradually through the games which probably helps.
My question is, even although I feel we have been lucky and he is indeed very handsome, would any of you have turned away from his romance in DAI if his look had been, in your opinion, bad?

I think you have quite a bit of company in the Fab 40's club. ( I've turned 29 at least 10+ times now. )
While I'm not sad that Cullen is good looking, it's not much of an influencing factor for me. If he turns out to be a tool, he's out. In the end, I will most likely canon the LI that has the most satisfying story line.

Man, those are probably a bunch of teenagers who think mid twenties is old. Personally, I prefer older characters and older people. A lot of actors looked like total dweebs when they were younger but have aged like fine wine!
This is actually an interesting question for me, personally. I do find Cullen attractive... but only because I love his personality. If I hadn't fallen in love with his personality and story arc? He'd be pretty so-so in appearance for me. I'm not normally attracted to the blond colour palettes, though blonds with brown eyes get points for colour combinations!
So... he could be more unconventionally attractive and I would still find him attractive because personality! I still do have some preferences, though, of course. Like, while quite a number people here like the idea of Cullen with long hair -- and there's nothing wrong with that! I'm in my corner all "Ehhhhhhhh."

Frankly, I have little pity for people who dismiss a person or value them solely for looks because they usually get what they deserve in my opinion. I can enjoy someone's appearance in an artistic sense, but it has nothing to do with what attracts me to a person beyond noticing them initially, and once I get to know someone, my opinion of their attractiveness can make make a complete 180. Though I have to say I don't get the issues with Morrigan, I think she's gorgeous in the latest trailer.
Yes, Cullen is very good looking (any decent warrior/rogue has to be in good physical condition, after all, to survive), but that was never what interested me in him as a character, it's a sense of someone who's evolved and grown in a lot of ways, someone who's struggled with his decisions and experiences. I probably won't romance him until my third or fourth PT; IB's sense of humor and potential crises intrigue me more that way and Solas is a thinker, which I love. But Cullen's probably the character I'm most looking forward to getting to know and befriend.
Creating beautiful elf boys becomes even more important when I'm drunk xD anyway, having pre-set characters now kinda reminds me of fighting games like Tekken. I really wish it were not co-op. I found ME3 MP quite boring for that reason. I mean because you fight AI and not real people.

For me, the only thing I can think of that would keep me happy apart from playing alongside members of this motley crew 
is the fact that its looks almost level/exploration based aswell as just attack/defend in randomly generated maps. I'm far from an expert on it though, it's only my reaction so far.
Having someone like me in your team might make you wish you could just forget real people and use AI's .

I admit to a weakness for particular voices myself, and I suspect Greg's voice will be one of them. The VA for Bann/Arl Teagan is one of my weaknesses, though only when he's doing that particular voice.

I've played 3 or 4 MMORPGs over the years (the last few months are the first time I haven't had some involvement with one in about 8 years), but I tried large group end content a few times and swore them off completely because I got fed up with rude gamers who expected you to understand every instruction instantly and berated new players for their gear, etc. I play for fun, not stress. But with the right people, people who can laugh at whatever goes wrong, it can be a blast.
