Seems to be "angry mage"s??
That'll be an interesting encounter then, since my Inquisitor looks to be a human mage too, LOL!

Huh, this sure seems to delve into Cullen/templar vs. mage territory. Tantalizing the fangirls while reassuring the Cullen haters that they can still hate...? ![]()
Sorry for the OTbut the Keyboard
!! Maybe they`ll finally show us the PC UI gameplay (crossing fingers)!
Nah, that's for the Keep demo
That's sexy as hell! I wonder who he's fighting with?

hmm seems like Cullen is a bit harsh on a mage? Or am I reading that wrong

Indeed. But is it someone who knew Cullen from before? It looks like the "Kn" part could be this angry mage calling him Knight-Captain, and his response is to correct him/her that it is no longer his title. Hmm.

Or it could be that he might fight/be agressive twards some corrupt mages? Or mages like Alexius or something
This is pretty cool. It still doesn't answer the Nevarran Accord question (I assume, at this point, playing the game will answer that), but it does confirm the big one (while, as you say, leaving the questions of why he's still wearing the regalia).
I do wonder how effing bitter he sounds when he says that, though. I'm so ready to have my hands on this game. haha
To which "nevarran accord" question do you refer?

I don't know. We don't know what that fight is about-- it could be Cullen arguing with both mages and a couple of his troops for all we know, snapping at them for falling back into a 'Templar' mind set when now isn't the time. Or even if he is arguing with mages, that line about not being a Templar anymore makes it pretty dang clear he's not being very Templar-y at them.

I wonder if they literally get into a fight? Man, that's gonna make for such a cool scene! Can't wait for the conversation after! ... I'm so excited!

Oh
... well maybe they`ll show it sometime soon....
i hope...

That could be. Or even "other" templars in the mix calling him Knight Captain, like old times?

Whether or not Cullen's one of the 15 KCs.
At this point, I almost assume he was, which would also explain why he's so p*ssed about "We are *not* templars any longer."

Speaking of witch im kinda starting to wonder if he might actually talk to any of his "co-workers" that are now red templars... that would be... interesting... can u still talk to them if the red lyrium took over their minds? I remember with Bartrend he didn't made any sense he was completely delusional and paranoid, same thing with Meredith... hmm
Also for @dragonage fans , meet Argent the Orlesian assassin (she was ultra badass) #PAX pic.twitter.com/vIk0S9jkCF

Awkward moment when I think Argent could have made a really interesting companion. Non-romanceable of course, otherwise things could turn horrible with that 'I am a tool' mindset she has.
Ok, so I think I've worked it out.
A mage and templar/ex-templar are kicking off at each other and Cullen steps in to interrupt the brawl. Angry Templar shouts that the mage's kind killed whoever/people/the Divine/whatever, angry mage tells him/her to shut his/her mouth, then possibly refers to Cullen directly as the Knight Captain, to which Cullen responds with "That is not my title etc".

Ah, I see! Hmmm... yeah, seems jury's still out on that. I can imagine lots of reasons/scenarios to be pissed about being called Knight Captain/Commander when you're not.
I"m just comforted that they're not pulling a semantic fast one with his char profile. I mean "former templar knight captain" could also refer to someone who has been promoted within the templars since we last saw him as captain. Taken all together, along with Brianne's comments about how he is disenchanted with the Order and now serves the Inquisition "instead," it's clear that he's not currently working for them. But could he have been, say, on temporary assignment and that's why he still wears the sword of mercy? Or did he quit and wears it for sentimental reasons? He had nothing else to wear on picture day??
Is there a chance its a placeholder armour to avoid spoilers, similar to what they confirmed they have done in the Lelliana images?

When do the Templars break from the Chantry in the Asunder novel? Is that before or after Cassandra's visit?

Huh. I'd always assumed shortly before. Oh! I see what you're getting at. Huh. I have no idea for sure though.
