@AbilityDrain @CuriousArtemis @Mike_Laidlaw I think what was said was more like: "If you miss Duncan and wanted more time with him..."

Bioware devs on the left, fans on the right :P

Gotta love cockatoos, nutters that they are.

As for LIs? I personally want Solas and Viv. Especially Viv, but I guess I can step down seeing I have Cullen and Dorian and Josephine.

Well that's no way to sell the poor guy! Now he just sounds like Diet Duncan or something.

Sad Anya remains for disappointed Blackwall fans. Obviously this isn't a confirmation either way, but Curry Art (and others) were really excited.

Yeah, i`m still crossing my fingers for Solas and Blackwall be the last 2 LI, and after those rumours i'm trying not to get too excited about it (although I think I'm failing at it :P).

Do you think they'd do that, tho? So many dudes?

I don't want to get my hopes up...

Gotta love sulphur-crested cockatoos, nutters that they are.

Ooops, is that a sulphur-crested? The vid quality is very yellowish overall on my end, so I assumed it was an umbrella, lol.

Well I really want to know who first reported "romance" and got it wrong. That person... I would have some words for that person!

No, I think your right! I saw the yellow and thought of the sulphur-crested I used to have, but I think it's an umbrella looking again.

Actually, what was originally quoted was "If you were sad about not getting to be with Duncan...", which is ambiguous enough it could still mean either. I'm not sure what the point of dragging this out is at this point, though, if there ever was one. *virtual hugs*

Well, my friends have one of each, but it's the umbrella who's the clown and adores showing off for an audience.

Edited: wouldn't it be cool if they added a bird pet? I mean, we've had Dog, and now Cullen's bringing lions into it. But I could definitely see an Orlesian noble with a pet parrot or other bird.

Who knows what the marketing team is up to any more. It even has the writers unsure and stuff-- remember what Mr. Weekes said about it? :/

*hugs back* I had quoted it from the Blackwall thread, though not sure where that person got the original quote from.

I don't know. I really want to pull the hair of the entire marketing team. They are some real jerks!

It's a cockatoo trait in general-- not always, of course! Birds can be as individualistic as people, but yeah. Cockatoos are nutters.

Edit: and I'd totally be all for bird pets! I'd call mine Bloodwing.

They really should reveal the last LIs. Handling it this way is just upsetting people. Marketing doesn't seem to have any strategy anyway, it seems like it's completely arbitrary what and how they reveal some things.

Yes. Another thing that upsets me about the whole situation is that it puts the writers in a bad spot. How many fans understand that it's not their fault, or not ML's fault, or DG or MD? So they have to deflect questions and act like they don't know and deal with any fan wrath. And then Sheryl and Mary and Patrick not getting to talk about their characters. It sucks.

I had a little budgie that used to do that, he liked to dance to Will Smith tracks, lol.

Whelp I should leave now b/c the gloves are coming off and I'll be a full fledged jerk soon lol This is on top of watching my footie team play badly three games in a row. I'm about to throw my monitor through the window, that's how I feel this morning. Maybe I should go back to bed.

Part of me still believes that it is or Solas or Blackwall not both, after all Vivienne equal the numbers for both genders. I don`t know what to expect but a woman can dream  :P. I just wish they would reveal the last LI soon  -_- ...

It does seem to have got everyone in a bit of a tizz, fans and writers alike...unfortunately not in a awfully positive way now, I just don't understand the reluctance to confirm/reveal the last few details surrounding the companions/LI, unless there are massive spoilers intertwined into their romance/relationships. It just makes little sense to me to hold them back at this point, it's not serving any obvious purpose imo.

I have an African Grey, he pretty nuts too but doesn't really show-off in front of people. He waits until we're in the other room then he lets rip with all the nonsense. His special trick atm is mimicking almost my whole telephone convo with my Dr. surgery while I order a repeat prescription, if left to him, I'd have enough drugs to last me 4 lifetimes
