Oddly enough I had my first (and hopefully not only) Cullen dream today when I was having a nap (this is what happens when you get stuck into fanfic at 4am, reading R2's for first time)

I was betrayed by Cullen while dealing with red templars and locked up. But then he comes and rescues me but I lay into him (as in punching his chest) and going nuts, so he grabs my wrists and slams me against the wall and only way he thinks he can shut my mouth is by kissing me... ummm it was enough for me to forgive :D Then he grabs my hand to lead my out but I'm like "oh I forgot my staff" and run back to get it and D'OH I wake up. Was a very nice dream...

I guess I am most definitely going human mage... the dream has foreseen it!!

I take full responsibility for my role in causing such a delicious dream.

In the photo of Cullen in the room with the bed, you can see something rising above it that looks adjacent to his room through the hole in the ceiling. I was trying to spot something in the Skyhold photo that might match.

Could be the little castle-style sticky out bricks on the top of each tower? If you look at the one with the hole in the roof, if he looks up through the hole he could see that brick work.

Maybe, but I'm assuming that there are two doors through that top level of the tower so guards can pass from one section of the wall to another easily (moving defenders around during a battle would be impossible otherwise), so I guess I'm also assuming he didn't place his bedroom in a room with regular pedestrians...

Well, it's gotta be one of the bloody things, LOL!

1) The tallest tower is mine

2) If that is his tower, it's in far too much need of repair

3) If that is his tower, it is too far from mine

Conclusion: he must move in with my inquisition for his own safety and convenience

LOL! Unfortunately, I'm trying to explain before I finish my first cuppa coffee... But I was trying to figure out a place he might be living that could fit the criteria of 1. could be called a tower, 2. someone can jump down from battlements to his door, 3. has some thing that would be visible through a hole in the roof, 4. and wouldn't be a pedestrian path (though that could lead to some VERY funny moments).

Makes you wonder why he picked one with a hole in the roof. Unless all of the Skyhold is a real dive when we first move into it?

I got the impression, not sure where, that it had been abandoned for a while. If we're in the process of repairing, he could be in any of those towers since it may have been repaired by the time of the Skyhold photo.

I'd like your logic, but I'm out again. So Like (at least when I'm romancing him).

Maybe it's one of the ones that we can't see because it's obstructed by the building with the 3 windows?

Yeah, I doubt the devs would make it easy for us by giving us a Skyhold that was in mint condition, LOL! Chances are we'll need to keep the place in good shape and keep upgrading it if it's going to play a part in some sort of battle (even if it's just once when the big bad comes directly to us, like Cameron said).

It's all a ploy to get into the quizzy bedroom I tell ya! (and she'll be happy to play along!)

I wonder if Cullen has a tower, if the other advisors will also claim a tower for their own?

Possibly! Leliana looked like she was in one during one of the demos. I guess it depends whether or not their rooms/areas are an extension of their personalities or not.

Had I not known about Cullen's tower, I would have assumed that the 3 advisors slept in the building with the 3 big windows above each other.

I think Leliana might have a tower too, based on that same photo, but I'm betting Josephine sleeps in the interior building since she isn't combat trained. Put non-combatants in the safest places.

Mind you, Josephine does miss her room with a view in Antiva, so she might also be in one of the towers? Or maybe that's why she misses it? Because she doesn't have a view from her room lol.

It's gonna be weird revisiting some of our old DA:O stomping grounds. I mean, I know Redcliffe was technically rebuilt and the peace gathering area is gonna get blown to smithereens, but it's nice to think that our Warden, and probably Hawke (since both were originally based in Ferelden) had likely passed through some of these areas (new or old) at some point, and in the case of our Warden, was actually passed through by us!

Surreal. Although, not as surreal as actually seeing our Hawke (and possibly Warden) protagonists in-game not being controlled by us, lol.

I wonder if we will run into Teagan. In my playthrough he got married to the chick who's brother you save.

If I see that annoying orlesian woman (whos name makes me cringe) I will grind my teeth.
