So, one of my subscribers just noticed that during the scene in "The Enemy of Thedas" trailer when the Inquisitor clone grabs you and slams you against the door, blood is running down it... literally the rain is washing the blood down our Skyhold (0.44):

 

 

 

... Looks like A LOT of death. I'm gonna need to be fully prepared for this one!

I'm not sure, it looks like rain running down a door painted red to me. The door and jamb are completely red with no gaps in the red, but there's no red on the walls? Maybe I need to rewatch it a couple of times...

I'm glad you mentioned this; somehow I'd never noticed that option (embarrassingly), and while I don't mind gore, I really don't want to hug or kiss someone while we're covered in it. Just not my thing, lol.

I spent a lot of time petitioning for it way back when.    That they default it to "on" is fine, but that the option to turn it off is there makes me happy.  I would ask if there's one in DA:I, but I think I used up my quota on that topic for the decade, already.  Heh.

Oh, sweet I dunno too much about PC modding so wasn't sure Tbh I still want to get an xbox one, and I will, eventually. And I would prefer to play the game on my huge TV and from the comfort of my living room. But if I am able to get that new PC, and I can play DAI on it, AND I end up being stuck with some (personally) less desirable romances, it would be nice to have access to some fun mods (though NOT mods to change people's races... yeah I'm not a fan of that rubbish).

Someone may find out how to work around Frostbite 3 to make mods. This fandom is...determined. XD

 

I'll play on a PS4, and while I'd like to have a gaming PC ONE DAY, that's not likely to happen anytime soon. I love mods though...adore them...especially if they make a CC more powerful and add more hairstyles hhnnnggggg yes please. XD

It's mostly just cosmetic, hair styles and armour skins I have modded DAO/2. Dialogue/bug fixes and some Alistair romance/wedding ones in DAO (I'm a softy for those). Oh and the Dance party one too in DAO, it was a novelty although I think I've only used it twice lol.

 

If there aren't any long hairs when the game ships due to clipping issues and such, if it's atall possible, you can put money on hair mods being available pretty quickly It's a priority after all lol.

I absolutely just realized how close we are to 3000, and I'm going to have to scramble to get my Cullen fiction finished.  I have a couple of pictures to go with it (that I promised to post and didn;t because I was like one more thing to tweak lol).  I just... need... to ... finish!

I'm just popping in because I was doing a great job keeping spoiler free until my SO, who knows nothing about gaming and couldn't care less, told me that there will be coop in DA:I. Is it true?? And if so, are you guys gonna try it? On which system?

Sorry if this is something that you guys have debated to death already, just let me know and I'll crawl back under my rock for a while longer (only one month to go!)..

It is true indeed!  Coop multiplayer (like me3)  which I am excited about.  Im going to get my husband a copy closer to release so we can MP together (he doesnt do SP games at all, for some reason).  It seems really fun, with 4 person groups running through a dungeon to slay monsters and gather loots.  And the MP characters have their own backgrounds (which I wont spoil for you if youre oing spoiler free?)

 

ETA:  Online coop multiplayer.  The devs confirmed no local connections.

 

the release date was changed to Mid November if you hadnt heard that?

 

Edited to add:  I will PC personally, but Im hyper competitive and sarcastic so I usually run with my cousin (who is moreso than me) and my sister (because shes known me for 35 years)

No you were right  Its multiplayer online only, which I know coop can mean like split screen or over a local area network?

 

When I said it I meant it in a larger multiplayer cooperative game, with 3 other people whom you may or may not know over the internet/server connection

 

Darn words meaning three or four things!  Its great for being sarcastic, but when you try to be serious, it just sucks!  Spanish is much better for this, because hard can mean two different things, but in Spanish its duro or dificil... easier to differentiate which is meant  Im wierd though!  Im pretty sure its been scientifically proven

Yup, spot on At the moment our weapons arsenal seems to be mostly made up of Pint tankards of ale, alcohol, drink, booze & wine, as you can see we are really focused on all manner of actual MP gameplay   Oh and I'm the designated driver lol.
