While I agree it sucks that he is NOT available to everyone....I really have issues with your remark. 

 

 

Not all straight people are evil you know. And yes there are some that are complete jerks but lumping a whole group into a stereotype is just wrong.

And lets talk about the straight people who fetishize homosexuality.  My brother has a worse issue with straight people doing that.

 

The writers have their reasons for doing what they do. We should wait and play the game before we make any judgments.

 

I feel sorry for the developers because everytime the romances get announced the **** hits the fan.     People act like if these decisions are intentional when they are probably decided when the character is written.

 

And thats all I will say on the subject

Lol, thanks! There wasn't too many facial hair options so I picked the one I thought worked out best with the rest of his face...his eyebrows I would change...but I couldn't change them for some reason. Meh, the CC is good but not great

Lol, thanks! There wasn't too many facial hair options so I picked the one I thought worked out best with the rest of his face...his eyebrows I would change...but I couldn't change them for some reason. Meh, the CC is good but not great 

 

I thought I remember having the option to choose different eyebrows. It was a long time ago when I made those though. It's a pretty good little doll-maker, all things considered. Too bad the elf ears are so small though... I prefer small elf ears, but as we all know, they're pretty big in DA2/DAI (though not so bad in DAI).

Yeah I agree with Melca. I'm straight and I'm usually not a jerk...although don't get me wrong I can be an arse just like anyone else, lol! What I think is that romance is an element of the game not the game itself so if romances are making you angry to the point where you are thinking about not getting the game or that there is a conspiracy...I think you should just take a breather and think on your character more. Maybe they don't need a romance, maybe they love someone who is not into them be that because of gender or race but they find their way finally into what they were waiting for all along...so yeah there goes my little softie bit XD

I know...I thought I did that with Clair....eh I was tired so I may have just passed it. As for elf ears it kinda depends on how I see my character...if they are ashamed they are an elf then I will probably make them small if not then I will make them larger, not Dumbo size but you get my style.

I think you all need to sit back and relax and ask yourselves if someone who has been religiously posting in the Cullen thread since mid-2012 really thinks Cullen is a jerk. Oh, and hates straight people. (That part isn't really linked to the posting-since-2012 bit but is more along the lines of common sense.)

Yeah, I kinda only joined BSN this year so I have not really seen what you guys have seen but I have read some topics where there are some pretty...well just plain nasty posts. So yeah idk what you guys have all been through, but the topic seems to be going strong!

This is usually a really positive group and positive thread. Most of the character threads (from what I've seen) are pretty positive, though that is not always the case.

Just playing around with the doll maker and I made my Trevelyan Mage, Zoe. This is the one I plan to romance Cullen. A sophisticated mage who wished for both sides to stop fighting in the Mage-Templar Conflict, and wishing to reconcile with her family, but she becomes hardened and commanding when the Veil tears and everyone (including possibly most of her family and mage family) killed. So, she tries to fight as hard as she can to make sure she doesn't lose anyone else. She tries to keep her emotions in check due to her magical abilities, as well as to keep herself strong, but her development will allow her to let others help her in her quest and to allow herself to show her softer side once more.

XD Well, I was hearing that it might be in it...so I was playing around with the idea for at least one of my characters. Thank you! I just hope I can think of her personality and outlook so I can have the basis for my first playthrough.

So, i`m doing another playthrough of DA2 again, this time with a totally pro-templar warrior Hawke (i`ve only played a complete pro-templar once and it was a long time ago).

And here my Hawke was talking with our handsome Knight-Captain   when Cullen showed concern for the wellbeing of Feynriel! I didn`t remember that . It was a nice surprise  . Discovering these new bits of dialogue from Cullen is one of the things i`m loving in this playthrough  .

that's why we got straight hair. and here i thought cullen was getting his hair done at Xenon's.
