Honestly with the Zoe Quinn thing, all I can find are people claiming she's either a saint descended from on high, or a sign of the coming feminaziapocolypse, so maybe it's best to wait for cooler heads to prevail and the smoke to clear before making any judgements.
The latter camp do largely appear to be from reddit and 4-chan though. Just food for thought.

If it could be anything atall, historical or modern, what do you think Cullen could/would be responsible for inventing?

Some kind of food, that is super easy to cook, healthy, and will keep you full till the next meal. So I think it would be a fast porridge recipe

Cullen doesn't seem to be the inventive type, imho. I think he's more an ass-kicking-balls-punching type.

There wasn't really anything controversial about her until her ex boyfriend started spreading rumours and stuff. Prior to that she made a game called Depression Quest and is a female games developer... which is obviously a hot topic at the moment, as such a lot of male gamers started attacking her. That's the short version of events, anyway.

Imagine if the roles were reversed... a female editor reviews a male developer's new indie game. There are rumors that they slept together. Male developer gets s!ut-shamed... OOPS, no sorry, I meant male developer gets universal hi5's from bros across the internet *snort*

But from what I've heard the journalist she allegedly slept with didn't even review her free game that was primarily made to help raise awareness for depression.

It's none of our business though. At the end of the day you either like the game, dislike the game, or feel nothing for it. What the developer(s) do behind closed doors is nobody's business but their own. Sure, she might have traded sexual favours for a good review from some journo, but who cares? Form your own opinions about a game, you don't need to be told by a journalist/YouTuber/whoever about what's good or bad.

 

IF, however, a developer was being a sleazebag (male or female) and was using his/her developer status to try seduce fans, then that would be a different matter. What Zoe Quinn may or may not have done is a moot point.
