Oh, I know -- I'm Irish-American and most of my Bioware PCs have Irish names (Deirdre Shepard, Aoife Trevelyan, etc., and in the anglicized category there's been a Kathleen and there will be an Elvis and Rowan). But if I'm going to play an elf I might instead give her one of the ridiculous Tolkienesque elf names with 50 L's and A's that the other writers apparently love to make fun of Patrick Weekes about.

Well TES has Llathasa. I suppose if you're desperate for that one extra L you can make it Llathala.

I can take pictures of all the tarot cards when I get my game, if anybody wants. I'm sure they'll already be out by the time I get my hands on them though

 

And I haven't really thought about first names for any of my characters since it never really matters anyways. I usually just default. I guess I might end up naming my elf Saskia. Not sure how elfy that sounds.

I've always thought the Hanged Man was rather apropos.

I last read up on all this weeks ago when the new trailer came out (and know absolutely nothing about it aside from what I read then), so I may be way off on this, but that sounded like a really good one for him in DA2 to me. I'm going strictly off what the card looks like in the video,* but the Emperor sounds pretty good for DAI Cullen meaning-wise too -- "taking on a leadership role" in the Templars, "creating order out of chaos" in Kirkwall, "commanding" the Inquisition armies, etc. 

 

* going off what little we know now, if we hadn't actually seen that the card looks nothing like it I might have picked Strength: "knowing you can endure", lion wrestling, some idealizing on my part about [mage] tolerance and "demonstrating the strength of love" etc. -- the more I think about it the more the accomplishing things indirectly or by persuasion sounds like Josie, although I think she might be the Magician

The hanged man is supposed to represent indecision, right? And the Emperor is a provider figure and represents worldliness, sort of like 'been there done that'. Honestly both could represent Cullen at this point, although Blackwall's a good fit for the Emperor too.
What no, I've never had a stupid obsession with Tarot, why would you say that?

Going by the armour: Strength because of the lions head.

Going by the advisors card: King of Swords (VERY relevant if you look it up)

Going by the living quarters...the Tower.

 

He could in fact be all three.

Not going to lie, Skyhold is one to the main reasons I'm excited about DAI. I loved Awakening, and at the time this whole concept was very limited. Now, based on what they're saying...I'm in heaven.

Hmm, could be Leliana--that sort of looks like the Fat Lute from DAO! I don't see any birds, though.

 

EDIT: Jiminy H. Christmas, Tranquility judgments. That's going to be a rough one to force myself to do in later playthroughs.

It's so beautiful all fixed up.  I'm going to love this.  It's such a good idea for an element in the game. Jeeze, I am finding it harder and harder to wait for this game.
