Have you guys seen what HoDA have done to the Broodmothers?! Seriously, just when you thought they couldn't look anymore disturbing!

Uhm, nope. Do I want to?

Broodmothers are on a very short list of video game creatures that I've really found to bother me. How they look, how they're created, how vulnerable it really makes the women of Thedas, whether they know it or not.

Oh, I know. I was just ranting based on that Tumblr post earlier.

Tumblr is a nightmare. It's eventually going to be as bad as Reddit. People are scary. I like to read funny tumblr posts on pinterest though.

That's fine. Nonetheless, the Divine Right crap is what bothers me much more.

Divine right?

I saw a little while back that broodmothers were going to be added and was wondering how they'd pull that off. Ew.

That blog made a very interesting read. It resonated strongly with me as my Uncle is ex-SAS. He served his time and retired about 18 years ago, he was only diagnosed as a PTSD sufferer 4years ago. People just didn't understand that just because he was home, it wasn't all better, it wasn't done and it would never be something he just "got over".

People are too quick to attach negative labels to others without facts or understanding. /rant ;)

I see Cullen being a highly motivated, ordered, organised & cool headed leader of our Inquisitions military, I'm not sure the devs would have promoted him if they didn't think so :P

That comic strip is brilliant, his poor face

I would love for the person who told Cullen to "get over it" be in his shoes and experience what he experienced and try to "get over" the events in the Circle and Kirkwall.

Cullen is a fictional character.People don't always expect characters to react to some situations in a way real human beings would, nor do they expect them to evolve according to them. They just expect them to magically recover and "get over it" so that the plot can continue.

Some of them are insensitive enough to have the same expectations from real individuals who've been through traumatic events in real life, let alone fictional characters.

For me, a character whose reaction and evolution after an particular experience,is as similar to these of a RL person as possible,is a well-written character.
And to be perfectly honest,I never met or heard of anyone in RL with PTSD that just woke up one day and simply "got over it."

So I am seriously considering swallowing my dislike for playing Circle mages and having one be my first playthrough, so I at least have an option of Cullen.

Bah. I am not giving up playing a dwarf again for the Templar. He'll have to wait. xD

;-; But why, Cullen? Why?

Or more accurately, he doesn't like drastic height differences, also being unavailable to qunari.

I am a Cullenite, through and through, but he is, in many ways, a f***ing idiot. *shakes head* I love my Dwarven characters- thank goodness there's Josephine and Blackwall to recognize their romantic awesomeness.

It's because they ruin his fancy pauldrons. Dwarves pull on them to bring him down to the right level and Qunari pull up for the same reason.

Those pauldrons were expensive...

Aww. Poor guy to be insulted like that. They said they added Cullen and Solas at the end, if given more time (MAKER NO!) I'm sure they would have made at least Cullen more available, because I can't see "story reasons" as being a proper gate for him (at least against dwarves) (he did have to live through the Qunari's culling of Kirkwall, to be fair).

But yes, inappropriate cheers for Josey, Blackwall, Sera, Dorian, Cassandra and John Epler's labour on Iron Bull. (:

I don't really care that much about being a different race. It was just that the qunari background grabbed me.

But not enough that I wouldn't feel horribly cheated by realizing 25 hours in that I adore Cullen

Ugh, I don't know. My kingdpm for a good and proper leak of the romance arcs.
