The wrong reason would be to genuinely like his stuff. Irony is the right way to go. 
Ugh, I can't even remember the game he was playing let alone his name, but he was just the worst person. He made a really ugly character, died a LOT, commented on literally every female character's breasts and whether or not he'd 'bang her', and was moronically questioning even the simplest of ideas the game was throwing at him. I would have watched someone else, but for what seemed like the longest time, he was the only one with a LP out.
Oh and he talked through the bloody cutscenes. No wonder he had no bloody clue what was going on!
To add to it, this sounds like his metal gear solid playthroughs. It is transcendentally bad, it's everything you described with racism as the cherry on top. You need to watch them:

I had...or I am having the same questioning phase. I usually go play Elf and Humans PTs side by side but when I found out about Qunari that kind of threw me for a loop. So now I am thinking about doing both a Qunari and Elven PT together...but then I want to do Human too....decisions...decisions...

I just learned two things I wish I hadn't just from the past couple pages of this thread, where spoilers aren't even that bad, so.... nah, we're good with followers and romances, no more plot/story spoilers needed.

I am not someone who is like "ACK SPOILER...KILL IT WITH FIRE...OR HOLY WATER, WHATEVER YOU CAN USE!" So I don't think I will leave the forums...I only try to avoid spoilers that either ruin the game's ending or experience.
It's probably sad, but what I'm really worried is having racist or sexist content just sprung on me. The DA team is pretty good but ME3 wasn't fun and I'm wary.

ME was pretty bad in its treatment of women in general. Miranda's gratuitous ass shots in the middle of serious conversations, Jack's sexualized outfit accompanied by a creepy "purity" romance arc, the forced Madonna/Wh*re dychotomy between Miranda and Jack, EDI being unecessarily sexualized for an android to the point of having a vagina slit, Ashley going from a hardened soldier to a Kardashian because she wasn't "bangable enough," the entire concept of the Asari being obviously written from male gaze to male gaze, the excuse for lack of females in other alien races being "resources" when there were apparently resources enough to make finely and lovingly detailed vulva textures (clitoris and everything) for banshees....

Not that I didn't mind the Miranda butt shot. 
I didn't think they butchered Ashley's character though and the Asari are badass with flaws of course. I didn't mind EDI as well and found her interesting.

True. It's just BW has squandered a lot of it's goodwill, so even the knowledge that she's written by Gaider isn't stopping me from worrying that Cassandra will be judhed by the narrative for being assertive, for example.

Cassandra will be fine, don't worry about it. Never realized that DA is sexist, considering that they treated female characters well.
