He laughs. His wife, however, tells you that would be scandalous, but if you do, you should be discrete, so a pretty pragmatic response even from her.

Regarding the whole Anders, Fenris thing. I romanced mostly Isabella for my male characters and Anders for my female, but I do remember that Fenris was also quite a jerk if you flirted with them both but chose Anders. I think he said something along the lines, "Ah you two are perfect for one another, one abomination for the other." I'm not sure but it was very close to that and that was when i realized I wanted to rip the lyrium out of him....oh and I apologize if I seem a tad...aggressive...stupid German.
Oh but I have very different experience
. In my first playthrough I thought Fenris left me after the sex (yay..) so I started relationship with Anders. Anders in some point was snarking at a Fenris about how he left Hawke and Fenris answered that leaving Hawke was hardest thing he ever did and he pretty much said that if Anders ever hurted Hawke he would come after Anders.
Yeah, he seemed to have kept up with her very closely. But not enough of a thing to get directly involved in rescuing Adaia's daughter, sigh.
Yeah, I wish we'd had that option to tell Alistair that instead of just "He saved me..."
The rest of that sentence should have followed;
"... Well, from being executed anyway. When it came to the saving of myself and other kidnapped women from being raped and murdered, that was all me! Duncan really didn't do jack! In fact, his "help" consisted of sending my cousin and fiancee in, who up being pretty much useless and/or dead!"
Omg I didn't know about flirting with Duncan! It seems like he has become too serious from his the Calling days, refusing to have sex with pretty noble lady, tsk ![]()

I don't think she liked me very much. I think I offered to teach her son how to use a sword or slay a dragon or something like that.
I mean...he had to learn sometime.
I love learning new possibilities ![]()
By the way, I think Teagan can end up marrying that girl, the one who asks you to find her little brother. Oh, Kaitlyn.
he looked so cool in DAI that i will be playing a female character just to romance him.
I'm sure this question has already been asked—I can't be bothered go through hundreds and hundreds of pages for the answer—but what do you think about Cullen being an advisor? It seems that it means that he can't accompany the PC on their journey. Even though he's romanceable, it just means that he's hanging back in Skyhold sipping on lyrium-laced brandy, while you're out on a grand adventure to save Thedas w/ your ragtag band of [mostly] sexually attractive misfits, becoming legends in the process.
Sure, you'll be able to bang him whenever you need to come back to Skyhold for some official business in between quests, but he doesn't really partake directly in the journey; no bonding under fire sort of thing or romantic puns as you both heartily laugh in the face of death as an army of demons spawn out of the sky around you.
Admittedly I was (and still am) a little disappointed that he's not a companion because I like the idea of the LI bonding and growing feelings for the protagonist whilst they're out on the road adventuring together. That being said, we still don't know how much input or screen time the Advisors actually get, let alone how their approval system works.
According to the devs the advisors content both romantically and story wise is the same as the companions, but I can't say I'm entirely sold on the idea of his (and Josephine's) romance arcs taking place solely within the Skyhold. I guess there is some solace in knowing that occasionally the advisors do pop-up during certain quests and will fight with us for a short period (like that Redcliffe quest), but whether or not his/her romance/feelings for the Inquisitor come into play in those quests (if you're romancing/pursuing them them at the time) remains to be seen... I would hope that, if it was Cullen being torture like Leliana was in that scene then, if you're actively pursuing a relationship with him, as you cut him down you'd at least get to hug him or have some sort of exchange pertaining to the fact that they have feelings for each other like "thank the Make you're alive, I thought I'd lost you" or words to that effect.
How do you feel about it?

In one of trailers there was scene where Leliana got captured. So I imagine Cullen might have some scenes as well where he's on mission. He won't be playable companion but I doubt he'll be in Skyhold all the time ![]()

Yeah, I'm sure he'll maybe go outside in the gardens once in a while.

Didn't the devs say that when you send the advisors on quests they don't actually disappear from the Skyhold? I swear one of them said that, which seems a bit odd.

It could be the advisors don't always go themselves. We do have agents to do some work for us. Maybe the advisors only go themselves for crucial missions?
I will miss the odd bit of romance related party banter without Cullen in the party (if there is to be any). None of the other two games were loaded with it but there were some nice wee bits and pieces of dialogue between the party members. I don't mind if Cullen isn't there but it would still be nice if while adventuring Cass or someone else still makes mention of the romance or flirting.
I always romance Fenris but I always take one flirt option with Anders, after Fenris leaves in act2 if you take Fenris, Anders & Isabella in the party, the three of them have a great set of banter always make me giggle ![]()

Yeah, I did wonder if that's what they meant because in the quest when they spoke about it they were just sending out that advisor's agents to do the the mission. I do hope they go into a little more detail about how the advisors actually work before the game ships.

Spoiler
Both DAO and DA2 had characters mention relationships in banter. I'm sure it will still be around.
I'll admit I'm most curious about what Leliana would have to say about a Josephine romance and what Varric would have to say about a Cassandra romance.

I've heard the advisor system being compared to Edward's Fleet from Assassin's Creed: Blackflag. It would be nice to get some more info, but the game is so close now, I'm not sure we'll get anything more.
Hey guys just a heads up, my uncles had a bleed on his brain so I'm...probably gonna be gone for a little while. If you need me for anything, please PM me instead of asking here
Have a great page 3000!
That sounds nasty. I hope your uncle gets better soon

I've not played Assassin's Creed: Blackflag, so I dunno what that's like lol.
Lol, it doesn't have any info on it. I read the wiki and the agents seem to behave in a similar way to the fleet, but I don't think the Advisor's are fully apart of that, otherwise they'd never be around to talk to.
Teagan should be around 42-45 now, according to the Stolen Throne timeline.... which, you know, is also the age of current romanceables Solas and Blackwall. He's still ripe for some smooching.
Huh, that's younger than I would expect seeing Old Man Eamon in DA:O, but I've never backed out the timeline from Stolen Throne. Not sure Teagan would ever be too old to romance, tho. Just sayin. ![]()

I'll admit that I was disappointed that we don't get the extra content with him out and about in the world, but I'm at peace now with him having his own life as my house husband back at Skyhold. One of the devs said the romance content pretty much happens at home anyway, so that's probably how they can justify his content being equivalent to the "core" romances. TBH I never got quite the reactivity from my companions I would've wanted during the quests in DA2 and DA:O anyway (like how I rushed to Alistair's side after the 'you should be King' stuff at Redcliffe, and for him, it's was just like any other day). So I'm hoping the reactivity to our relationship will feel more organic this time around. Regardless, I know I'll love it. ![]()

Yeah, this has been a little confusing. The advisors have agents. Sometimes the agents are faceless numbers (e.g, send 10 agents to restore Monument X), while other times they're named agents, like the Avvar dude who pledges allegiance to you in the PAX demo. Or perhaps like Dagna, come to think of it, and how you can set her to clear out the noxious gas in that one canyon.
If Cullen's doing stuff out in the world, and yet simultaneously always there at home when I need him? Win. ![]()

I can only presume he/they physically leave for the Redcliffe quest and other quests like it, otherwise how else would we have known the advisor is missing when they don't return in a timely fashion? Unless they leave at the same time as you do with those types of quests?
