Ooooh, the Skyhold has a training ground! I bet Cullen can be found out there every now and again.
Between him, Cassandra, and Blackwall.
Both Varric and Sera may have taken over the tavern.

I was wondering where Varric would be hanging out if Sera has claimed the bar lol.

AH! THINGS! ![]()
I seem to have a mage planned for every romance I want to do.
Cullen? Human Mage.
Solas? Dalish Mage.
Dorian? Dalish Mage.
OMG SO MUCH VARIETY

Just in case y'all didn't see these a few days ago...
I'd prefer to also keep them in this thread...
Spoiler
What was in the rest of that early access interview? Anything new?

Nothing, just a recap of the Skyhold stuff we got a week or so ago. And since it was Game Informer that got the initial coverage of the multiplayer, they also had a segment on that. Otherwise, the only new thing was the ten second clip of the Inquisitor walking through Skyhold.

Ah, that's alright then!
I reckon an Elf, just because in Tervinter they're all slaves... would make for an extra layer to the story, kinda like Cullen romancing a mage I think it's definitely got that "forbidden love" appeal to it.
The most forbidden and taboo relationship for Dorian would probably be either a Dalish Elf or a Qunari with no magical talent whatsoever. On the plus side, Dorian will be happy and narrow-minded Tevinters and Orlesians will be united for the first time in history, by their mutual tutting and "Le gasp!" reactions.

(Not all Elves in Tevinter are slaves btw, since it's mentioned that not all members of the Soporati are humans. After being freed from slavery, Fenris' mother and sister Varania became part of the Liberati, with Varania also joining the Circle of Magi and become part of the magocracy (albeit on the lowest rung) since she was discovered to have magical talent).

I know, I just couldn't be arsed to go into details about the lore and who does what.

Playing a city elf apostate would have been sooooooo much fun when romancing Dorian. The Dalish elf just doesn't have as much appeal to me in that regard.
That said, I think Dorian would love to show us off to his parents back in Tevinter. I'd bet they would have a field day with a knife ear being not only a powerful mage, but also the Inquisitor. And the Lavellan is a pretty open relationship with their son.

Actually, one of the Tevinter slavers in DAO was an elf, can't remember her name at the moment.
I can't seem to enlarge the image...what does it say?!
You can't? Well, basically she was filing bugs in her game and tried to file it to Leliana, so she mentions that she must be over tired. Then Shadow Reign jokes that she has Cullen there if she needs help, to which Liz replies with "and he's so worried about me too", so I jumped in to try and find out more but she just made mumbling noises lol.
Hmmmm, perhaps he's worried cause the mark is draining us of our life force and we are getting weaker?
Gawd, that would be awesome!

I want the power to come at a price. That's a pretty powerful theme, in my opinion.

For sure! I'm tired of being a special snowflake with cool powers without there being an obvious and immediate price. I know being a Grey Warden kills you prematurely but you still have a good 10-30 years or more before you have to take your calling, but something like our tear closing powers is the perfect opportunity to see it gradually cause us problems the bigger that massive fade tear gets etc.

True. On the other hand, dying while finally closing it makes continuing to play after the finale a bit unlikely ![]()
