Did somebody say Pimpquisition?
That is officially awesome. Does anyone suspect after the game comes out, we'll get a Gamerpoop mashup where we channel Jarl Balgruuf?
"I'm the Loooord of the Rings, I'm the Arl of Skyhold, holla if you need me!"

I know I am going OT, and I can't believe I am considering it, but I might redo my Hawke with my first World State to romance Sebestian. Rivalmance anyway.

I romanced Anders, and I hated how I had my Hawke, so...I can't help it! Besides , Sebestian didn't annoy me like I thought he would. He actually made me question my choice to keep Anders alive it not!
I romanced Sebastian my first playthrough....

What?

It's so hard to romance Sebastian because you have to not flirt with anyone before you get him... and have you met some of our companions? I always play Hawke as a consummate charmer and flirt, it's hard for me to play through as either an Renegade or Paragon Hawke anymore, as well as be chaste as Sebastian wants them to be.
Frankly, he's way too high maintenance and far too into your sister!

From the sounds of it, he isn't completely chaste with that.
You mean you haven't watched it? There are less scenes and no kiss or hug. The rivalmance made people think the chaste thing was off but that was never stated and the DLC banter says it's still chaste.

No sex until marriage: So sayth the Chantry!
I find the idea of a mage Trevelyan still coming from a background of Templars and Chantry supporters absolutely hilarious! I would imagine the family would likely want nothing more to do with him/her the minute they found out he/she was a mage, LOL!
I keep saying that Cadhla Trevelyan lived in the lap of luxury until she disgraced her family by having magic. ![]()

...I thought I read somewhere that they kiss in the rivalmance...? T_T
No, no kiss at all. The rivalmance only makes him say he'll go back to Starkhaven and suggest he'll marry Hawke if he becomes a prince.

Which makes no sense at all. While a chaste marriage for a friendmance could make sense, it doesn't at all if you rivalmance him and convince him to retake Starkhaven and leave the Chantry. He does know that he's eventually going to want some heirs right?
(Personally, I'm convinced a rivalmanced Fem Hawke gets so frustrated with him, she begins screwing Fenris behind his back)

...GAH! Okay, I can get if he would want to wait until marriage to have sex--I am like that. But a full on chaste marriage even when he is prince? Does he realize he would be persuaded by his advisors to have heirs?
Uh, I'm pretty sure that the political marriage he suggests on the rivalry path is NOT chaste.
The thing is, Hawke only marries him in-game if it's a friendmance. If it's a rivalmance he says he'll marry Hawke if he manages to get Starkhaven back - and since by the end of the game he hasn't even begun trying, it's a chaste romance that might or might not end in marriage one day. His final rivalmance scene implies he thinks things won't go that way - the whole "if we had met in a different time" thing.

Yeah, I hope that our Trevelyan gets the chance to converse with his or her non mage family members at the conference. I think my Gale is gonna be as cold as ice to his family.

This is part of why I'm glad we had an extra year and a half for the game and extra time for the romances, because could you imagine if Cullen's romance had been left this short, inconsistent and difficult? Sebastian's felt like it was half-finished or waiting for the cancelled Exalted Marches expansion to really get going.

...Then I will rivalmance him and help him win back Starkhaven! Then, head canon that they do get it and get married but she goes off on her own the same time the Warden does. Yep...I can work with that...
I headcanoned an heir for them while I was at it. Problem solved ![]()

EDIT: Oh my, ToP! Have another aimo special:
