Or no, Varric would probably say, "If you don't go after her, templar, I'll just have to make up something."  :P

Truly, a threat to make even the most valiant templar quake in his boots.

I dunno, as much as I adored Garrus and his awkward flailing, it might not work for all my PCs.  And I like variety in my romance flavors.  Cullen's probably older than Garrus was too (Patrick Weekes unofficially put Garrus at 25-26 at the beginning of ME1), and he doesn't have the interspecies problem, so I'd hope he's got a little more game  :P

There any particular game's vids I should look for to get a feel for this, or just search for "Garrus romance" on youtube? Or is there a better source than youtube?

This vid will catch you up to speed on Garrus:

https://m.youtube.co...h?v=jrwCJxR1Xgk

I think most of the appeal of Garrus' romance is his voice and his loyalty to Shepard. It certainly ain't his looks.

I honestly don't want him to be anywhere near that awkward myself (a little awkward is OK), but it's funny to think about.

Would that someone be Josephine?

Dammit Scribbles, stop being so stealth adorable even in things I made up that didn't involve you!

I wanted to romance Cass first and she's ninjamancing me already!

I actually tend not to like adorable romances. I only started liking Garrus in 3 because he and Shepard really seemed to care about each other and have open lines of communication. So I'd be more interested in Cullen's romance switching rapidly from work to personal stuff and back than anything.

I'm really in the middle somewhere on this.  I don't want his awkwardness to be in any way debilitating, but I won't mind at all if he appears to be making an extra effort to overcome a certain amount of artlessness to make a connection with my Quizzy.  There is a certain appeal in the idea that he has to face down his own social weaknesses to establish and maintain a relationship. In its own way, it's can be very romantic.

Garrus: Make sure she fires correctly before you pop your heat-sink.

Cullen: Heat sink?

Garrus: Right, right... err... if she can Earthquake before you Smite her, that's good.

Cullen: Okay...

Garrus: And don't be afraid to let her use Telekinetic Weapon and Haste on you... I suspect you'll both enjoy it.

:P

OK, one of the talented fanart people needs to do this, ;)

edited for lousy grammar...

Instead of the shy fumbling type like Alistair was, I could see Cullen being the stiff kind of awkward. He would try to be romantic but would slip back into professional mode in the middle of it.

Yes, I totally see it this way too.  Like professionalism is his social security blanket, in a way.

Thanks!  Considering the extra complications of him having to research how tab A and slot B could work in that instance, that wasn't too awkward.

Yeah, I see a lot of

- Stop calling me 'My Lady' while we're making out.

- Yes, my Lady. Uhm. Sorry. My Lady. UHM.

Not so much clueless virgin like Alistair, as just kind of... stiff. A little rusty on this romance thing. Less "how do u womenz????" and more, "how do make out with boss she's so hot but also boss??"

He's still adorable, just a more grown up kind of cutie. ^_^

I can picture Cullen sitting in his tower, reading "Captain of my Heart: A Guide to Winning Over Your Warrior Woman" by Donnic Hendyr, by candelight.

(And with the porn parody version "Barrack Booty-Call: Man-hands and Muttonchops" by Cirrav and Alebasi under his bed)

MEAAAAT ALL THE WAY! MEAT AND POTATOES!

i dunno... but i bet he would prefer meat over veggies, this ain't manly food xD

and over the centuries meat has been a very nutritious food, essential in every living being's diet. also let's take into account the everyday physical training, and cold weather around the skyhold, these are very hard conditions for living (:

I could see him liking Roast Dinners with gravy, for some reason?

That was funny. XD

And now I figured out my female Hawke! I'll let my warrior pro-Templar Hawke romance Sebastian, while my Mage Hawke is the casual flirt who goes with Fenris! Poor Cullen won't stand a chance. XD

I think you're channeling my (US) Southernness. Yes, I really have called someone darlin' and sweet pea. In public (but only when in a non-professional situation). :P

I love your art, and I think you do a great job of adapting ideas and giving them your own twist.

Sweet Pea. That's one of the names I call my babies sometimes. (Keep in mind they're full grown men now. )
