So Follower Friday is definitely this Friday, right? It's the last Friday of the month.
Yup. Definitely this Friday.

Most likely, yes. Looking forward to it.
I have many kind of characters but for some reasons I only finished game with these one's. Maybe I want heroes who are only good little boring. I think I overall like conflicting characters like my blood mage. My headcanon for him isn't that he's evil maleficarum that wanted more power, more like he was into situation where he needed more power to save others when he was little so he's similar to Connor in that sense. Actually my blood mage is as good as it gets, always helping with everyone and wanting to find peaceful solution XD He friendship romanced Fenris, was friends with everyone else too (but not Isabela, sigh she always leaves my Hawkes) and in the end sided with templars cause he wanted to protect Kirkwall ^^
Interesting! I definitely find that kind of approach to blood magic intriguing, but what kills it for me is the lack of in-game recognition of the PC use of blood magic, because I really feel it would change certain dynamics with characters. Like if Fenris knew Hawke was a blood Mage I think it would make the friendship path reeeeaaally difficult. Merrill is a sweet character, but Fenris and Anders can never look past her use if blood magic, for example. Without that reactivity for my own PC, my sense of immersion is broken, if that makes sense? To me it cheapens the speciality: you get to use the perks without having to worry about negative reactions from your followers.
Which, please understand, is NOT a critique against how you choose to play! I'm always intrigued by how differently many players play out the game as opposed to how I do it.
Actually the same thing bothered me too so don't worry ^^ I'd love if some companions would be more distrustful towards my blood mage since they are known to be manipulators. I'd love if someone would have call him out of it, especially Fenris. But no, Fenris just tells Anders that Hawke is strong mage no matter if he's blood mage or not which isn't nice since blood mages give into temptation no matter the reason.
EDIT: To bring this back to Cullen, how would you want to react to blood mage companion? Should Inquisitor being blood mage lead Cullen to leave, make him unromanceable or just make him mention it? I really hope he wouldn't leave although it makes sense but I hope there is some kind of consequence of being blood mage.

The lack of acknowledgement has always bothered me, too, which is why I'm so glad they've specifically said that people will take note if you're a blood mage. Yay! I really hope Cullen flips out because of it.

The art style is sweet! And the Inquisitor is distinctly gender-neutral!
Love it.

Hmm the cover is nice but I wonder why they abandoned red and white style, I loved it.
Gorgeous cover art! Has a real Pandora's box feel to it with all those demony demons spilling out.
I love all the castles in the background!

Kinda miss the blood dragon though. (I'm English, I need to complain in SOME way)
No blood dragon, but it you look at the white negative space where the demons are, you can make out the shape of a dragon.

Oh, so cool!
Hmmm, I like how gender neutral that Inquisitor looks.
I don't know, it looks pretty manly to me....kind of disappointed in that but looks good otherwise.
I noticed that they used a Warrior Inquisitor for the art though.

Really? I could easily see a woman in that armor.
My first thought was, "LADY HIPS." Then I blinked. "ANDROGYNOUS HIPS."

Oh probably could get a woman in that armor, but that clearly looks like a man in the pic. But I guess they had to go with one or the other.
