I don't think Cullenites are blinded by their love of Cullen. The biggest issue is personal take on the whole situation. He presses some peoples buttons and then they come here/Tweet/Tumblr/Kinkmeme  some pretty hate filled stuff or troll.

 

Let's show some respect for each other. Opinions differ.

 

I for instance do have Dwarven runs in DAO where I annulled the circle...because I roleplay, and Sereda believed it to be the best choice. I also have a pro-Templar Hawke all through DA2 who then stands with the Mages at the end because that is what Templar are supposed to do...protect the Mages from danger, whether from demons or external forces trying to kill the innocent.

 

Thedas is a complicated place and there are no true black or white decisions, many are shades of grey (Bhelen or Harrowmount)

Ehhhhhmmm barely I'm still so angry and depressed. I can't think of the game with anything close to anticipation... I know I will play it eventually, just not sure when. I've strung myself up with hope again because I'm going to be purchasing a new PC so that I can play the game on PC and hopefully mod it, but my luck the game will be utterly unmoddable. 

 

But at least now I can chat with you guys without spontaneously combusting in a fit of jealousy lol

 how do you think your Inquisitors who are NOT romancing Cullen will take to him? Will they get along, or butt heads? Are you planning any playthroughs where you will completely antagonize him just to see where his character goes?
 

A lot depends. I probably won't antagonize him intentionally, but I could see him and my Zhenya Cadash butting heads at first (until he figures out she's nowhere near as amoral as she appears). I think he'll get along with the other non-LIs I've put much thought into (well, I'm not so sure about the Dalish mage...). Though if I keep playing the game long enough, I'll probably play an a**quisitor...

Well, ME3 was supposed to be utterly unmoddable...and the ending mods for it IMO outstrip a lot of DA modding in complexity.  With the right motivation, just about anything's moddable, so don't lose hope

I actually only wanted to be spoiled on the romances, and since that all sucks for me, the only thing I really have to look forward to is CC and story... so I'm doing my best to avoid all spoilers! I haven't looked at any of the Skyhold stuff.

Well, I'm glad you're back, and without spontaneous combustion...

Oh, really? Cool ^^ Yeah I'm not dumb enough to hope for a mod that will make Blackwall or Cullen romanceable for my PCs; I know there was a major effort to change Thane's storyline but those were a bunch of serious and dedicated fans of that character who all happened to be modders. I've been searching around to see if anyone was able to make Traynor or Cortez straight, or Thane gay, or Ashley lesbian (you get the idea) but haven't found anything. With the voiced protagonist it seems impossible, unless you're willing to just stand there mutely throughout the scene.

 

But I am hoping for some facial mods for the two love interests that I do have ^^ I would think that should be at least mildly doable for the modding community??

I hope so Physically speaking I am down with him. He doesn't have a handsome face, but he's a nice manly guy His personality isn't something I really go for; I had that in Zevran, and while I thought Zevran was well written and cute, I didn't fall for him. But it is better than nothing!

Facial mods were fairly easy in the old engine, but I don't know how Frostbite will fare.  I know there were folks trying to make Traynor and Cortez available for both genders of Shepard, and it may even have succeeded, but that thread got shut down due to a hornet's nest of anger.

Yeah, i Hoped we'd get the full list before release.
And i hope they'll talk soon about specs.

I do the same!! Well in DAO Zevran was really my only option, so that doesn't count. But I've done around 15 playthroughs or so of romancing Fenris. I've romanced all the others (well never finished the game with Merrill) and love them to bits, but Fenris is my Hawke's soul mate. And in ME I tried to go for Cortez in ME3 but after spending two games with Kaidan and all that unresolved tension between them... it's impossible not to choose Kaidan!

 

I don't see myself having this problem in DAI since I only have two options and only mildly like one of them, but who knows, things could change once I play the game and mod it to hell and back

They said it would not contain a toolset like DA:O did.

 

Lack of toolset doesn't mean people won't still mod the game.  It just means it'll be harder.

Um, yeah, I can only imagine!! It's not something I would do in my game, but I would not begrudge people who wanted to do it in their own games in the comfort of their homes. It's sort of like the hideous white-washed Isabela. I hate it, but if you want modding, it is going to be there.

Yes but I also heard people who tried to mod Battlefield got banned from playing the game. I don't know if this is true or not but people should be careful nevertheless.

Yeah and another problem is that it's on this new Frostbite 3 engine, and the only other game I know of on that engine is Battlefield 4... which I understand is a FPS game. Not exactly a good example of whether faces can be modded and romances can be altered lol
