I know I have Lair of the Shadow Broker...I'm playing it on ps3 so some of the dlc came with it for free, but I'm not sure if I got Arrival...what does the Arrival dlc have in it?

 

Also, I LOVED Lair of the Shadow Broker. It was pretty awesome. (I had to reload a save though, because at the end I gave her a hug and I meant for it to be a 'friendship' hug, and she seemed to take it a bit differently...I felt so bad replaying that because she was so emotional and I wanted to comfort her but I didn't want to send her the wrong idea and get her heart broke >.< )

Hmmm *trying to not accidentally spoil* in Arrival you get a mission from Hackett to go rescue an agent from Batarian space. Not everybody thinks so (as with all things), but I personally think it's a must have as it sets up where Shepard is at the beginning of Me3. Without it...it kinda makes sense, but it's just a lot more fleshed out to me with Arrival having been played in Me2. 

 

Oh Lair of the Shadow Broker is soooo awesome! Definitely one of my favorite Mass Effect dlc. It really shows the growth (positive and negative) that Liara has had since Me1. I know. I wanted to comfort her the whole time 

 

Kasumi-Stolen Memory is another great Me2 dlc too. You get another companion (who's amazing in my opinion) and an awesome loyalty mission.

Hey guys, could those of you who request and then get codes edit your original posts to say you have one? I'm waiting to hear back from a few RL pals to figure out how many I have to share, but the Cullen thread will be my first stop once that's set and it would be great to be able to easily see who still needs one.

 

EDIT: Although if we've interacted on here in any capacity, feel free to just PM me - I should have 2+ regardless of the people I'm waiting to hear on.

 

And another general catch-up edit since it's been a while: Artemis, glad to see you back!! And Aunty Social, I can sympathize very much with your comments about fandom and competitiveness in arguments. I had to unfollow a few blogs I love on tumblr because there isn't a single, comprehensive "mages vs. templars debate" tag that I can blacklist and I don't want to be stuck with either devoting a ton of time to writing up arguments or having a thundercloud over my head all morning because Someone Disagrees With Me On The Internet.

Not much beyond it reads like it's kind of at a stalemate, and the books begins in 9:41 and ends in 9:42 with no mention of the Breach, so it appears DAI will take place in 9:42.

Got the Kasumi one. I liked that too. I don't believe I've gotten the Arrival dlc so I'll try to purchase it before I play ME3.

And for Me3 I would recommend (haha): From Ashes (seriously, just get that if you can. You get a new companion and he really adds a lot to the story. I really feel like he should have been apart of the main game), Leviathan (adds extra story stuff to flesh things out), Omega (helps things make sense with a certain character and adds some things...can't really discuss without spoiling. It's not a must have, but certain things make more sense if you have it), and Citadel because it's basically a fan tribute and is amazing in every way possible (for me at least).

Yes, I have been in a gaming mode myself lately I have been playing Skyrim but may replay DAO/DA2 to get ready for DAI. This fall is going to be great-new Dragon Age book, new Dragon Age game

On the Mass Effect talk, I did complete the first game, romanced Kaidan, and I planned to romance Garrus in the second. But...between unsure where to go and Jacob ninjamancing me it seems...I stopped playing.

I'll miss you guys too.  I'm just too dash-ed competitive.  I'd like to say it's something I could just easily overcome, but I was raised in a competition against my siblings basically, so 20 years of upbringing don;t just go out the window when you want to keep on reading about one of your favorite characters  

 

And it's not even just the BSN, it's pretty much everywhere I go.  And it's not even really anyone else, it's me!  (kicks dirt)  Stupid issues.  

 

I will miss you guys so much.  My days are going to be much harder to get through because of how awesome you guys are  I wish I could just skip over the posts that are like debates, but pretty much anything can trigger that for me.  Its the Fight or Flight response and I must always fight... Go on the hunt!  Destroy the competition!  Not that I actually do, and I pretty much don't ever actually debate anything, but the trigger right now is enough to cause pain, and numbness down my left arm, so I must do what is best for me.

 

I love you Macy, and R2, and Lola, and Eric, and Morie, and loominous, and .... this could go on forever... I love all you guys.  You're the bestest

Hello, all!

 

Just popped in to see how everyone is doing. As for me, it's been a hectic, but ultimately rewarding whirlwind of activity.

 

In a nutshell, In July I got a temporary job assignment through a staffing agency and I'm loving what I do! The assignment is until the end of the year but the manager has already said that she will do whatever it takes to hire me once the assignment contract ends, which I figure will be in the first part of November. Hoping this happens!

 

Second, I've been concerned about my parents. Dad is 88; Mom is 84. While both are still active I want to make them as comfortable and stress-free as possible. We were able to secure a first-floor apartment for them in the same complex I live in. Now instead of driving clear across town to see them only once a week, I can now see them every day and make sure they're all right...not to mention the fact that there's a home-cooked meal waiting for me every Wednesday. Win-win for us all!

 

And finally, thanks to the kindness of a BSN forumer I was able to get into the Keep beta this evening! Hopefully I should be able to access it by Friday. Now that I finally have some time to hop on and visit. I want to tell you all that I always think about how wonderful and supportive you Cullenites have been and can't wait for the game to launch so I can come back here and hear all your thoughts about romancing Cullen.
