I don't know, it looks pretty manly to me....kind of disappointed in that but looks good otherwise.

I noticed that they used a Warrior Inquisitor for the art though.

I saw it on twitter and nearly woke up the baby with my sqeeeeeeeee. Then the four-year-old saw it and asked what it was. I told him it was evil fade spirits that mama was going to defeat... Like a BOSS. To which he responded, solemnly, "oh, like the reapers?" (Except he says "weap-uhs"... Adorable)

I do see it as being either a woman or man, but I do think they had they were using a rogue this time around for marketing?

I think they wanted to show off the glowy hand. Hard to do with dual-wielding daggers, perhaps? Also, I rather like the balance of the photo with the two-handed sword as it is. Archer would've been cool, though probably didn't have the same feel as someone using a sword.

I love that box art. I think it's very androgynous, that could just as well be a woman as a man. In fact, considering that's a warrior and the shoulders are fairly slim I'd even lean towards it being a female.

I do think it can be woman or man both. DA's armors for women aren't much different from mens, that's why my little brother was very confused when my Cousland was woman but had huge armor on, sigh he has fallen into trap of bad female presentation in games. The point is that in DAO you can see if there is woman or man under the helmet without taking it off and I love that So to me it can be either one in the cover.

EDIT: To bring this back to Cullen, how would you want to react to blood mage companion? Should Inquisitor being blood mage lead Cullen to leave, make him unromanceable or just make him mention it? I really hope he wouldn't leave although it makes sense but I hope there is some kind of consequence of being blood mage.

I hope consequences/reactions are strong, at least. I wouldn't mind if they did offer a way to have it addressed but not an absolute deal breaker? But my personal inclination for Cullen would be that he wouldn't be able to stomach it, especially in a romance. But, like I said, I won't ****** and moan if the writers allow wiggle room so long as there is at least an initial strong reaction for sake of verisimilitude.

I'm looking at it zoomed waaaay in, and I think what's making Inq look a little more mannish is the massive shoulder armor. Creates a more male silhouette. But otherwise pretty gender neutral.
