I just realized that at the rate this thread is going, I won't be able to get my 3000th page fic ready in time, not with school now. :/ I might not even be able to be around for the celebrations. Oh well! I look forward to seeing what everyone has in store!

I have actually done all of those decisions   (though the last one was entirely by accident in DA2 and I immediately reloaded).  I think I have an easier time playing these decisions in Dragon Age than in Mass Effect because you're rarely just straight-up horrible in DA.  I killed Anders on the rivalry path to spare him his suffering, and sided with the templars in DA:O after saving all the mages and just turning them over to the templars' custody.  I would never, however, be able to betray Wrex or break up with Garrus.  I couldn't even watch those on Youtube.

 

I don't find killing Anders and siding with templars as bad choices. Harsher than siding with mages maybe but not wrong one's so I have done them in my canon playthroughs. I mostly kill Anders during battle though, stabbing him in the back is too much. It's his choice to stand against my Hawke then and story-wise it makes sense to me.

Sorry guys, quick question.
When I started playing all the da games, I was playing with my partners account. So all my game info is on his account.
When the keep opens to everyone will it be easier to continue using his account or just inputting all the info from scratch?

I mean it is basically a synthetic life form that is repeatedly performing the function it was designed for, over and over, until the end of time. It's sad, really. And yet it reached out to Shepard, who for some reason, caught its attention. It just feels like an ending I'd read in a classic Asimov's (the magazine) short story.

the name I called him was a joke, i forgot the name (the Catalyst, right), and I recalled people Calling him starchild in the forums.
From what I can recall, he didn't shown any sign of sadness for his situation. And I do think that he reached to Shepard for the simple reason he's the first one to achieved what he did. So far nobody was able to complete the Crucible.
I do think that his plot for 'saving organics' doesn't make much sense, But as I said, I don't dislike the endings that much. Even before EC I was disappointed, but it was more about what happened after the Crucible fired its beam.

If you're asking for honest responses, I'm not sure what you want to accomplish? A whole thread that can be answered with "we did already see one" doesn't seem to add too much. If you want to have a "BW we demand you give us this!" or "why hasn't BW given us something?" type thread... weeelll, seems seems destined for negativity, to my mind.

Honestly? I couldn't give two sh!ts.

David Gaider says he's a good man, his writer says he's a good man. So I'm inclined to believe what the writers say. Word of the Make himself 'n' all that. Yes, he's done some bad things in his life, so have a lot of people within Thedas to varying degrees. We know what sort of past he's had so it's not surprising, I suspect you'd wouldn't be quite so hard on him if he had been a Mage.

In truth I think you're just purposely trying to poke the hornets nest now, I'd have thought after all these years you'd have realised that regardless of Cullen's past we still like him. Covering old ground is a pointless exercise.

I don't understand at all how slaughtering whole dalish clan is siding with werewolves option since since you have to propose it to them and they are first against it, they just want Zathrian to lift the curse and continue their lives instead of staying slaughtering whole clan for what Zathrian did to them and staying as werewolves ^^;

Yeah I don't get that either. It was Zathrian who refused. He would have had to die or give up immortality or something I think. But his whole clan would have been saved as well as the humans now wrongly paying the price for their ancestors deeds. I had to fight Zathrian but I didn't have to attack the whole clan. I thought that was the "pro-werewolf" option as wonky as that sounded. But instead of mindlessly killing elves, I found out how the curse was lifted and Zathrian refused so a battle ensued and he was gone at the end. And that was also a pro-werewolf ending. Wtf?

I feel tempted to start a thread saying "can we see a black inquisitor?" After going through the female Inquisitor thread? Should I do it?

Perhaps start a constructive discussion about it? Gather the images we have of black Inquisitors from the trailers, screencaps, concept art (there were some really cute ones in Matt Rhodes' art blog), and start a discussion about who plans to play black Quizzies, what do people think of the how the new engine handles skin color so much better, how the extensive customization allows for phenotypical facial structures we couldn't quite get before, the ranges you can go from light black to Vivienne's beautiful dark tone, etc. I don't really like threads in the vein of "Biower gimme stuffs" as they sound entitled and attract trolls, but a constructive conversation is always nice to have.

If you do start a topic like that, I'll pop over there. My Cullen-mancing Inquisitor is a black Trevelyan, I'm eager to see how much the chargen will let me really reflect the look I have in mind for her.
