I have something ready after all, though getting my idea down to about 500 words was very hard. However, if we have too many people for page 3000, I'm willing to drop off since mine isn't a romantic moment or anything.

I think we're doing a good job slowing down. I think if we could push off to Saturday that would be awesome, but later today could work as well.

1. It can be anything so long as it's Culleny. Fic, photo manips, banter, recipes, art, etc.
2. If it's longer than about 500 WORDS, post it elsewhere and link.
3. Beware NSFW. Links only, with warnings. (inside spoiler tags don't count)
4. No chatter on Page 3000, just celebration. You can congratulate and comment once we hit 3001.
5. If you won't be around, let me know and I'll save you a spot.
6. Try to use only one spot for multiple stuff, unless it looks like there will lots of extra room. We want to make sure everyone who wants a spot gets one.

Unfortunately, I don't have anything prepared because I didn't manage to finish my fanfiction. I aim for the page 4000 celebration now. However, I am hopefully present to congratulate and I am prepared for some squeeing and fangirling 
. I've also got a question: Do we only post our own stuff for the celebration or can we post the work of others as well - with the appropriate link, of course?

Exactly this! It can be as long as it needs to be. But if it's on the longer side, then we suggest you post it on tumblr or fanfic.net or whatever, and post the link on Page 3000 itself. If you're flirting right around the 500 word mark it should still be fine to post here; it's not a hard limit but a guideline to keep Page 3000 readable.It doesn't have to be 500 words if you're planning to post it on one of the fanfic websites and link it here.
We try to keep it to just our own stuff (or something created for the celebration by someone else is also fine, of course). Otherwise, there's a whole universe of Culleny stuff out there that could show up. That being said, posting a 'yay page 3000' with some screenshots or the like is also fine. I'm not registered on any of those sites (and didn't have time to research them to see what I was getting into), so I just streamlined my idea down to about 525 words. If I have time today (and I already played hooky last night for a couple of hours to write), I'll take a look. My idea doesn't need a high word count, but a couple of hundred more words would help (there's virtually no intro to the scene to put it in a clearer context).

Agree. Sounds like you should go ahead and post it here. If it's gets too long, then maybe consider a <<read more>> tag and put the last bit under spoiler tags or something.

I honestly still wonder at "random" folks outside the Order having templar abilities. I read a lovely, NSFW fic about Cullen and Marian Hawke once where she had the templar spec and the author explained it as she had quit or something.

Alistair probably isn't the only templar who's played fast-and-loose with the Order's secrets. Especially during the time of DA:I, the structure of the Order has pretty much disintegrated. My man Hawke had the templar spec; I rationalized it as Malcolm learning some anti-magic techniques from Ser Carver, then passing them onto his son. My man Hawke learned them to protect Bethany from the templars and act as a last line of defense if her magic went awry.

Wow, the pages really fly by. 3000 already.
I haven't finished anything I intended to finish for the next celebration *ashamed*. I'll just enjoy the brilliant art and fanfic and other creations that the rest of you make.
