Oh boy. Damn, if the Tranquil do indeed start reversing themselves because of the Veil, we are gonna have a metric ton of overly emotional mages who suddenly get their powers back. What Anders did is gonna look like a freaking firecracker. They are gonna have a bone to pick.
Oh, I hadn't even thought about the possibility of tranquility reversal because of the veil tears. That would be awkward indeed.

So...is it plausible to you all that Cullen might have had a good friend (Templar) that might have stuck with him through the rebuilding of Kirkwall and possibly joined the Inquisition as an agent/leader in our army?
I have a rather extensive headcanon that Cullen eventually helps Keran (from the Enemies Among Us quest) deal with the emotional/psychological repercussions of demonic entrapment/temptation in his life as a Templar, drawing from his own experience at Kinloch; and that leads Keran to grow fiercely loyal to him over time, standing with Cullen through the whole fallout of the Kirkwall mess and further (even through the Inquisition), as a sort of unofficial right hand to him. It might be because I really like Keran and think their story arcs are so similar that Cullen could easily see himself in that kid, but I think it's pretty fitting.
So yeah, I think your idea is very plausible. Cullen was a good Knight-Captain to his men at least, and had the right idea about the Order, so I'd think any good Templar in Kirkwall who didn't rebel with the rotten apples would have stayed loyal to him all the way through.
So we have big decisions on what to do to people, lands and factions.....

This combined with Bramblefae's discovery the other day that Cullen doesn't hate Assquisitor has me thinking that Cullen's not going to be the champion of mercy and temperance that I was hoping his story was arcing towards. :\ (EDIT: And of course he wouldn't be as interesting if he wasn't still flawed... but I hope the flaws they've given him don't involve him not learning from his past mistakes.)
Well I think all the advisors are going to be hard to turn against you purely for the sheer necessity of those characters to the continuation of the game's story. Plus, I'm not sure if Assquisitor is full on evil, just a bit of a Dickensian to everyone.
