He does look old, no doubt. But it's more than just that. The hair doesn't match, the nose doesn't match...in fact, there's not a single feature that looks like Cullen. It does not look like him, not even an old, saggy version of him. I just think it's kind of bizarre, considering how much the other two cards actually do resemble Josephine and Leliana.

I'm going to guess the painter was male (or a lesbian). He did a speed job on Cullen so he could spend more time on Josephine and Leliana. Especially Leliana.

Thank the Maker that he doesn't actually look like that in-game... which makes me wonder if that's what he looked like before they gave him an overhaul. I remember Cameron Lee telling me that the first version of him for DAI had him looking really old and battle scarred, like Zaaed in Mass Effect. That could explain why his card looks nothing like his DAI model.

I don't understand it either. I wonder if they all just went GoT crazy and painted them all as citizens of Westeros. Leliana as Melisandre, Josie as Indira Varma's charatcer, (haven't seen S4 yet, so forgive me not being able to remember her first name), and Cullen as Tywin.

Loved the new video Lola, like Meanie, I'm having a hard time unseeing Blackwall lol brilliant! Even hubby who doesn't get any of the DA stuff chortled, that's an endorsement if ever there was one

 

I much prefer Cullen as we have seen him in game, I don't mind old and battle scarred atall but imo he looks much too different aswell as unwell on his card, I'm glad they gave him an overhaul lol.

This was what I was thinking as well. If true, then they really did a 180° from their original intentions. Thank the Maker.
