Ooo! Deepest darkest gaming secrets? There's nothing I've ever felt about a BW game that I absolutely felt I couldn't share but there is definitely opinions I tend to keep to myself because they are on topics that often trigger too much angry backlash for my tastes.

That said....
1. I really enjoyed my two canon LIs for DAO and DA2 (Alistair and Fenris) but ngl, part of me has always wanted a "Garrus" for DA. His personality is totally up my alley and in an RPG game there'd be way more chance for in depth exploration.
Weirdly my ideal guy - as in one closest to my RL personality preference - would probably be a weird mix of Garrus and Fenris o.O high functioning vision/lethality, just assertive enough, but dial back on the angst and brood so that it exists but doesn't overshadow! And throw in good, wry humor, a la Garrus, yessssss.
2. I'm gonna have a hard time romancing Cullen before Blackwall! I am sooooo intrigued by both (and Solas and IB, too but mostly the formers) and I want to see ALL THE ROMANCE I just worry I'll have to wait through soooo many playthrough to get them all!
3. I kinda feel sick to my stomache whenever someone tries to justify or outright condones Anders blowing up the chantry. I've RPd characters who are pretty sympathetic about it, but personally it pretty much ruined Anders for me. I don't hate him, but ever since that first blind playthrough I cannot help but see him as a villain in companions garb, if that makes sense.
I'm not at all on board with much of the Chantry's ways/practices/teachings but I really liked the Grand Cleric. Didn't agree with her all the time, but liked her. I was genuinely horrified when she died. Perhaps because her demeanor reminds me a bit of my mum?
4. Iiiiiii am totally in agreement with Sebastian when he's all "wait, wtf?!? Why are we going to war among ourselves when the culprit is right ****** here!" Lol I like that part of the final act, both when my Hawke agrees with him and doesn't.
5. I LOVE Zevran, I can just never make it through his romance but I can never kill him, he's too damned awesome to have around!
6. While I've played DA2 many times and really, truly enjoyed many parts of it (the companions especially!! I hope we hear about them in DAI)) I would be OK with Hawke getting offed off screen. I enjoyed playing through DA2 but I never truly felt like any of my Hawkes were MINE. On the other hand I wanna know what is going on with all my diff Wardens so bad I can taste it!

I once got that crazily-detailed-customizeable nude mod for DAO? I was fascinated by its mere existence! Well my husband and I had a blast exclaiming over all the customizations provided... And then I totally didn't realize those choices would EVER show up, so I didn't think to tone it down? There I am, playing one night, I'm at the Sacred Ashes gauntlet, we're going through the flames....

I had Alistair, Zev and Sten with me.
WHAM: cue a whhhooooole lotta swingin' dicks. to this day my husband teases me about it after my shrieked "OHMYGOD! TOO MUCH UNEXPECTED NINJA ERECTIONS" alerted him and he found me beet red and flailing. ahhhh... Good times!

Weekend totally screwed by a lightning storm taking out my router....sheesh.

 

Ok deepest darkest Bioware game secret.

 

I never romanced Garrus until after ME3 came out. Never romanced anyone in ME1, none of them appealed. Romanced Thane many, many times in ME2...then ME3 rolled around....yeah...never finished that 1st playthrough. Since installed ThaneMod and MEHEM.

 

Alistair gets hardened ASAP in DAO because he whines less. Not a fan of Zevran as LI, though he is very well written.

 

Could never forgive Anders after 1st playthrough of DA2, and spent 5 games trying to stop the Chantry getting destroyed...you can't, but hey at the time, I thought it was possible.

 

Liked Fenris as a friend, and do have some saves as a LI, but really the whole years of waiting thing, feels more like being dumped. 

 

Friendmanced Sebastian as LI more than any other character in DA2...wow did we take forum flack back then over him LOL.

By the standards of other people here? No.

In Origins I would tell monsters to 'get away from my girl' every time Leliana was targeted. 

I'll probably talk to my LI when I have them in my party too. I'm really curious how the 'banter input' mechanic is going to work.

Sounds like he's a bit of a nag... which would irk me. Unless it's a:

 

"Hi honey, how was your day? Nag, nag, nag... did you save the world yet? Here, you look tense... let me rub your shoulders for you..." 

 

*pulls ultimate Fonzi move, back kicks the jukebox, cue Al Green singing "Let's Stay Together" as Cullen slowly walks toward your Inquisitor... eyebrow cocked as he begins to sing along... "I-I-I-I-I... I'm so-o in love with you..."*

lol I do it all the time. Usually telling my party to stop being idiots and do what I tell them to...I am a slave driver what can I say lol

A little OT but my Sim Cullen just died and I was like *insert Darth Vader...NOOOOOOOOO!*    it  was heartbreaking
