Sounds like he's a bit of a nag... which would irk me. Unless it's a:

"Hi honey, how was your day? Nag, nag, nag... did you save the world yet? Here, you look tense... let me rub your shoulders for you..."

*pulls ultimate Fonzi move, back kicks the jukebox, cue Al Green singing "Let's Stay Together" as Cullen slowly walks toward your Inquisitor... eyebrow cocked as he begins to sing along... "I-I-I-I-I... I'm so-o in love with you..."*

I have GOT to get more sleep or these hallucinations will never end.

Man, I think I'd switch the game off if he done that. TOO much cheese for my liking, LOL!

Ya but it would be an hilarious way to ruin the romance! I can just picture my face staring at the comp like "WTF just happened?!"

*re-start game and aim for Blackwall*

But it would go so well with his noodle hair! Then we'd have The ultimate comfort food: Mac and Cheese!  *runs away*

I expect Cullen to be a bit of a grumble guts, lots of chuntering and mumbling under his breath probably in exasperation at my inquisitor lol.

I don't want an overload of smush, having said that, although I expect him to remain pretty professional in front of the gang it would be so sweet if you returned from a particularly lengthy or dangerous mission and he forgot about his professionalism for a just moment and affectionately hugged quizzy in front of everyone.

I'm not convinced that for my Inquisitor "saving the world" is going to be enough to prevent her from wanting to give up so I do like the idea of Cullen waiting at "home" for her, even if he is to nag at her, she will at least feel she has something/somebody to fight to get home to :).

I still have these odd feeling that Greg Ellis's tweet about his singing was somewhat tongue and cheek, and our inquisitor is going to find him on the way back from the tavern some night with the party crew who decided he needed to get drunk, singing something loud, off-key, and embarrassing. Not that I don't want to hear GE singing something more serious, he has a lovely singing voice, but ... :D

Cullen, I did LOTS today. Killed giants, found some obsidian. It doesn't SAY Fade-touched, but it was near a rift, so...? #AssQuisitor

Patrick Weekes ‏@PatrickWeekes
Okay so it doesn't count as Fade-touched, but Cullen listen, it's sooo powerful and it's gonna get nerfed SOON. I need it NOW. #AssQuisitor

Patrick Weekes ‏@PatrickWeekes
...But if you're asking if I like DIRECTLY saved the world from the forces of evil, then I guess TECHNICALLY not today. #AssQuisitor

I'm liking this. I had a fear that the advisors would just hang around the war table the whole game, waiting and waiting indefinitely until you deemed them worthy of attention; but it seems like Cullen doesn't dig his old role of just standing around looking pretty as you arse around the plot accomplishing nothing anymore. If he can recognize that you're stalling and not fulfilling your Inquisitor responsibilities, and even nag you for it, it means he's a lot more responsive to you and your decisions than I was really hoping for. Yay for Cullen upgrading from living Ken doll to a character that actually reacts to the world around him!

I actually don't mind him nagging my 'Quiz, either. Between a bunch of enablers going Herald this, Inquisitor that, My Lady this lot, Your Eminence that lot, someone's gotta keep this woman grounded. It doesn't hurt that her bae is most invested in her keeping her head on the game and winning this whole "save the world" affair. ;)

lol I am 5000% sure that Greg was trolling with that tweet, and Cullen's "soft stirring singing" will be more like us walking into him half passed out on the tavern bleating the Chant like a drunken baby mountain goat or something. They've pulled this "heartfelt singing" thing with Tali before, and remember how that turned out. :P

Yep, still as bad as I remember. lol

Though hearing a drunk Cullen singing would be rather entertaining.

Well we know that Greg is a good singer (Starlight Express etc), so whilst I expect we'll get a drunken rendition of the chant, there is always a possibility of a serenade or lullaby....

Ughhh, another 65 days until the game gets here....and then the race to find out!

Maybe we can take a jab at Cullen for the, erm, heart-warming display of his angelic vocal talents, if we're at a high enough friendship level. :P And then if you're romancing him, he'll want to make up for his embarrassment by showing you his real church boy voice and singing you something actually nice and sweet.

....probably not, but it doesn't cost anything to dream. ;)

Cullen needs a whip!

Is it weird that I actually talk to my game like this?

By the standards of other people here? No. :D

In Origins I would tell monsters to 'get away from my girl' every time Leliana was targeted.

I'll probably talk to my LI when I have them in my party too. I'm really curious how the 'banter input' mechanic is going to work.

I yell at my LI, actually.  "Alistair, Fenris, Torian, friggin' Quinn ...!  There's FIRE, a big huge-a** red circle!  MOVE!"  I generally let my other companions fall over, though.  Like, "Oops, should've moved, hah!"

Not sure if posted here but Specializations have been added  :D

Mages

Necromancer

These mages specialize in binding the spirits that are drawn to death. They can put the fear of death into enemies, bring spirits to fight on their behalf, and even cause devastating explosions when their enemies die.

Rift Mage

These mages draw upon the force of the Fade, either pulling matter from the Fade to attack or twisting the Veil itself into a weapon to stagger or crush their enemies.

Rogue

Assassin

Any rogue can kill a target, but assassins make death into an art form. They specialize in quick, deadly kills that let them slide back into the shadows undetected, or indirect kills that eliminate targets while the assassin is safely away.

Tempest

These unpredictable experts specialize in using alchemical mixtures that wreathe them in frost or flame. Fast, chaotic, and possibly mad, they wade into the fight and dare enemies to face the storm.

Warrior

Reaver

As the battle gets bloodier, these vicious and deadly warriors get even more brutal. Hurting them just makes them mad, a mistake most enemies don't live to repeat.

Templar

These unrelenting warriors specialize in fighting mages and demons. No enemy's magic can withstand them, and they inspire and protect their allies with their righteous power.

Nice!

I'm torn between Necromancer and Rift Mage. Necromancer sounds really cool, but I would really enjoy to roleplay that there's a connection between the inquisitor's green Fade hand and her powers to manipulate the Fade and the veil.

I actually think I'm going to go with the Rift Mage for my first playthrough.
