The gating did give me a hiccup with Solas, but I literally just genderflipped the elven mage I already planned to romance him with (and it was rather easy to because I wasn't hard set on playing a lot of males anyway), so, granted, I wasn't hit the worst.

The one thing that IS throwing me for a loop right now is P.Weekes' tweet about how once you initiate a romance all other flirt dialogues will shut down. I don' t know if that means only once you "lock in" a romance, or if flirting with someone even once will lock you out of every other romance. The second would pretty much destroy my main Inquisitor's characterization, because she's a super flirt for very specific reasons, and that's not something I'm looking forward to changing about her. I'd still be willing to hold myself from clicking the heart icon with anyone else for Cullen's sake (see Noodle King, this is how much I love you), but ugh. That's a lot more headcanon-ing through the game than I'd like, specially when we were so free to flirt as much as we wanted in the previous games, even if it lead nowhere.

 

For that second part, there was a second tweet that was along the lines of once you're in a relationship it locks out all but some very specific flirts?  Something like that, I think.  My interpretation (if you care at all), is that it's only once you are committed to a person, that most of the flirts get locked and even then there still a few  I suppose we shall find out for sure in Noviembre.

I highly doubt we get locked out for flirting once.. if I remember correctly, at least one dev (maybe Allan?) has tweeted that they got yelled at by their SO for flirting with another. Plus, it wouldn't be much fun

Aah you guys are so reassuring. Certainly once the flirting stage passes and the "real" relationship with Cullen kickstarts I'll want no funny business with anyone else, even if it's funny to think of Cullen having jealousy hissy fits. I hope you're both right and I'm just fretting over nothing.

So I came up with new quizzy, just for Cullen... Milica Trevelyan, knight-enchanter. Pro-circle, looks for best intrest to mages. Short red hair with bangs, black eyes and tanned skin. She has very strong opinions and doesn't compromise with them. She's pretty hot-heated but mostly has lot of empathy and is friendly with people. She loves to tease them though.

 

Her name is after my favorite actress, Milla Jovovich whose given names is Milica. I just love the sound of it ^^

At the very least, the bottom woman appeared to be wearing black robes and used the exact same model staff that Alexius used at Redcliffe and that we have seen Venatori mages use, so I think she's both an Imperial mage as well as a Venatori member, as we also saw, in the same shot, Venatori behind her.

They are same person for sure or then twins. Eyes, mouth, teeth.. everything but hair is identical.

I imagine that she doesn't get along with Cullen and other chantry folk very good at the beginning. "Oh yes, you are a templar, one of those who drove us away of Circles where we could practice our magic safely. One of those who tried to kill us cause we are too dangerous, not even realising that it's your pursue that made us that way. Ex-templar? Must be nice, to be able to shed your role like that. We can't do that."

 

I just imagine her having lot of bitterness towards the templar order and Chantry, especially at the beginning. She understand importance of both but looks to reform them Depending on what Cullen wants she might push him to return to templar order after the Inquisition since they need templars like him. But I have to wait and see how everything plays out in DAI.
