AssQuisitor is back...
Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes
Hey, crazy-faced Dalish buddies! It's me, the Shemlen Queen! #AssQuisitor
Cullen has a receding hairline?
It's a joke with those old concept sketches posted a couple pages ago. There was some major 40 y/o hot dad with receding hairline game going on there.
Still a babe though, 10/10 silver fox would bang / swear my vows with, whatever he asks of me.
Old Cullen wouldn't make much sense anyway imo. It's been 3 years after we've seen him in DA2 not 20.
lol I think my Inquisitor is the only one in the thread who's pro-Chantry and has no interest in arguing mage rights with Cullen. Poor Noodle, at least in one parallel universe out there he can catch a break about it.
New #DAI gameplay coming to Twitch on 9/29! Follow us to see it first: http://www.twitch.tv/bioware pic.twitter.com/r860iR054i

Actually, my Ryumka is kind of neutral on the whole conflict, based on my projected backstory that she was treated badly by both Templars and mages because of her family (how likely is it that mages would trust someone who has family in the Templars?) She won't agree to locking mages back up, but she's not anti-Templar either. The question, of course, is how far the game will let me go down the path of compromise; she'll side with mages only if she absolutely has to choose a side.
CULLEN IS IN THE KEEP.
I REPEAT, HE IS IN THE KEEP.
And Leah is a Cullenite!!!

Livestream on Twitch
Join creative director Mike Laidlaw and producer Cameron Lee for a Dragon Age: Inquisition livestream event Monday, September 29th on Twitch. The stream kicks off at 10am PDT / 7pm CEST with a first look at Inquisition’s deep character creation tool, and we’ll customize an Inquisitor from scratch with your suggestions!
Come along with us as we dive into a gameplay demo and explore a never-before-seen area of the game! Hang out in our live chat and interact with us. Have questions about Inquisition? Want to give us suggestions to tweak our Inquisitor’s appearance? We want to hear it.
After the stream, head over to Twitter use the hashtag #MyInquisition to tell us how you are going to play Dragon Age: Inquisition.
See you there!

The stream broke for me right at that moment, could you elaborate? ![]()

Maybe we'll be able to get a compromise and recruit both sides into the Inquisition, instead of an either/or choice? I'd really prefer that, if only so that this choice is not such a false dichotomy. I rather liked that Irving would still appear on Fort Drakon to fight alongside Greagoir when you sided with the Templars - both sides can fight together for the same goal.
There's also maybe a bit too much importance being put in mages/templars before we actually see the game because we don't have much else to speculate about, what with that subplot being resolved early on. Hopefully we can get past that rather quick and move on to the major plots of the Inquisition itself, and Cullen's friendship/romance arcs are about more than his opininonos on mages or templars (though I know this is just my unpopular wishful thinking as I hate this entire subplot anyway
). But I really want to know more about Noodles than that. I want to know his past, his hobbies, his favorite foods, his favorite books, is he a cat or dog person, what color are his undies, who taught him to fight, does he drink at all, is he as proficient with the greatsword as with the longsword, has he ever shot a crossbow, does he miss Ferelden, is he even Fereldan to begin with, where did he get the scar on his hip, did he ever know his mother, does he miss his glorious skirts, has he ever licked a lamppost in winter, etc etc etc. So many questions, such little time to ask them all while having to go off and save the world every day. ![]()

I also hope the mage/templar thing is relatively minor in this game (I hate the subplot too because there has been no way to recruit the moderates who are willing to cooperate, to deal with the radicals) and preferably with a resolution that isn't the equivalent to wiping out one side or the other.
Spoiler
OOOoooooooOOhhh that wasn't there yesterday!
BUT I'M LOVING IT. My Hawke was always friendly and respectful to Cullen and I love to think they might have been friends between those six years that went by offscreen (specially when Hawke casually greets him with "just checking with an old friend" like that). It'd be the worst if Cullen was rude to her (or her to him) when/if they meet again. Maybe this doesn't mean anything and it's just one of those throwaway choices you put in just because, but if by any chance it means they'll meet and speak again and be as friendly to each other as I picture them, I'm over the moon. ![]()

Can I say me too? Because, if I can, "Me too".

ALWAYS FRIENDS! ALL THE TIME!
Yay for Cullen in the Keep
And yeah, I can say my canon Hawke was on good terms with him.

Not me! My canon Hawke was kind of the worst ![]()

A mage in love with Anders who would have been a Resolutionist if she cared about anyone else? Hey, me too! ![]()
