Not only that, but look at that hair! It's long(ish)! And it actually looks pretty good!
My thoughts exactly!! Oh BioWare, please let boys have similar options!

Decent length hair! Decent length hair!
Sorry. I'll show myself out.
As long as it doesn't hide an elf's ears. I felt like I had the choice of about 4 hairstyles in DAO because hiding ears seemed to just turn her into a small human. I even created and ran one with the buzz cut (eventually deleted her) because I didn't want to repeat hairstyles, sigh.

I heard a rumour of 19th October for the Keep release on the Twitter thread. I have no idea how true this is.
To confirm the friend Cullen thing I rebooted up two of my Hawkes. Pro-Templar is called 'my friend' during latter interactions, Pro-Mage simply gets called Hawke. So yes, there is a flag.
Now...back to Tumblr which crashed on me when copying something interesting from rihouston...
I wonder if you can still befriend him even if you are pro Mage...I know my fem!Hawke called him old friend.

It's a completely false rumor. Leah said yesterday that they hadn't even nailed down the exact date yet.

Since it doesn't upload any game data except appearance and name, presumably you can set it up any way you want to. If it's locked to other decisions - proTemplar-yes, proMage-no, then there's no point in putting in the work to have it there (and complicate the entire system by having to link that choice).
So, looking at the CC screen... what is lip liner? (spoken by someone who hasn't voluntarily worn makeup in 25 years

I don't use it, but it's the color you outline your lips with, rather than color in the rest. So, there would be a main lip color and an lip outline color.

I sided with the mages every time and it sure felt like Cullen and Hawke were friends anyway. Idk. *shrugs*

OK... I think you'd really have to love makeup as an artform to spend that much time on it irl
Which is how I describe it to anyone who asks me why I don't wear it; it's an artform that I personally find no enjoyment in and would rather not invest time and money just to please someone else.
Admittedly, in game, you only ever have to do it once (and it's free), which is why I do use this stuff in CCs.

i didnt really like wearing makeup but for some ppl is a "necessity" if they have stuff on their face and try to hide it, for example i use to suffer from severe acne and i couldn't go out looking like a monster so i had to put 4 layers of foundation on my face just so i can make it look somewhat normal...
Now the only makeup i wear is eyeliner and thats about it

I don't wear make-up either. I used to when I was younger. I have a few bits upstairs but I bet it's gone off and needs the bin. I have an allergy to sunlight so I do use a clear lipgloss with spf in it if that counts as make-up lol.
I wonder what hair colours and eyebrow shapes will be available in the new CC, do you think we'll get to see anymore snippets from it?
Maybe it's already been answered but will we be able to change CC things in game? The amount of times I had to restart a PT in Origins because I didn't like how something looked once I saw it in game. I hope we have a dressing room or mirror that we can change CC options if we want to without having to start the game again.

I had the same problem. If we could somehow trigger the PC in the CC so we could see them talking in a cut scene with normal light, it would be a huge help. I never found the brief phrases in the DAO CC that helpful.

I do wear make-up, mostly just eyeliner and mascara to give me that hint of goth look
Also loose powder to hide any blushing or flushes of anger since I'm pretty pale-skinned. And lip gloss to top it off. Now I only wear this stuff to work or if I'm going out. Every day me usually neglects it; every day me is more of a boy anyway whereas work me is definitely a girl. I like creating these two different mes
Not that boys can't wear make-up and all girls do, of course.
For my FemHawke's I liked to play them as pretty butch, deliberately so, and they always eschew make-up and have the shortest hairstyle possible. Except for one who romanced Merrill; I made her a bit "softer" but then that's also the playthrough I never made it through.
My pawn in Dragon's Dogma wears make-up, but she's also about six feet tall and could bench press her Arisen, so... ![]()
I hope there are make-up options for guys, not that I'd use it on my boys, except to maybe accent the eyes sometimes (but not to where it actually looks like they're wearing make-up). But I just prefer it when a CC is totally equal between genders, a la Dragon's Dogma. More player choice, I say! ![]()

Yes! That's why I want to see more of the VAs aside from Alex ... um... Traynor
(I don't know her full name.) Okay, so we all know pretty well what she will sound like as the inquisitor. Can we hear extensively from the other three now?

I'm not too intrested of make-up options either but I like how you can choose color. It really seem like we can impact a lot how our quizzys look!

I think the "was Hawke friends with Cullen" Keep variable is just tracking whether you picked the nasty, neutral or nice way to say things to him when you had the option, which is a perfectly legitimate variable for the Keep to track (even if the game itself didn't--I haven't tried being mean to him in either my Templar-side or Mage-side DA2 playthroughs so I'll have to take people's word for it that he's colder to you if you choose less friendly dialogue options with him. I've only seen him being less than friendly to Hawke when she was acting like Meredith Junior to the mages in Best Served Cold). Either way, I'm just excited that he's now important enough to have been ~*~officially~*~ rendered in the DA2 cutscene style, since it never happened in game AFAIK!
As for makeup, love it IRL and excited for lots of variables in the CC. I'm hoping to figure out a way to borrow or rent an Xbone for the week before it comes out just to get all my face codes lined up so I can get right into the game on 11/18. I hope the PS4 version looks a little nicer or I'll really wish I'd gone for the XB1 instead.

Oh goodness...haven't been on this part of the interwebs for a good minute!
How is everyone?
I just saw that picture on Twitter, I'm SO happy they seemed to finally get lips looking right (particularly the upper lip) I notice the weirdest details, but that aspect always drove me nuts in CC.

Hope you've all been great while I've been away, there's something about living out of a suitcase in other people's spare bedrooms that just doesn't make it easy to keep up with things unfortunately
News on my end: Found out on Thursday I am expecting a baby girl! Everyone insisted I was having a boy, so I was quite surprised. Either way it's nice to know
