Now you guys are just rubbing it in - no moustache tweaking for me.

Still I can appreciate from afar, he's a handsome fellow and I'm sure DG will have written an amazing romance story for him and I'm really happy that my gay protagonist buddies have such a great character to look forward too.

I'm going to continue my strategy of staring at his picture every day and hoping it will stop upsetting me Because I really, really want to play Auren first, I really do. But the plan was to romance Bull and hope for mods for Dorian and his tweaky mustache. But... I don't want to romance Bull twice. And Kael definitely belongs with Bull (especially since I dislike mage/mage romances).

Well once we see that demonstration of the CC on Monday I have a feeling my spirits will rise again

I think that one is too obvious, honestly. I'm inclined to see possibilities with Iron Bull and Solas (and don't throw anything, but possibly Cullen in certain circumstances).

Solas, I can also see. But Iron Bull...it could go either way, in my opinion, depending on his view of the Qunari by endgame. Also, I have a suspicion that he might be recalled to Par Vollen by the Ariqun to report on what the hell has been going on in the South, cause if the Veil is being ruptured worldwide, then the Qunari might have issues with the Veil on their home turf too.

Oh and just let me add a caveat to the whole Dorian thing; I have no doubt he's going to be an awesome character and his romance will be superbly written; hell, we are talking about David Gaider here I wouldn't feel it were such a dilemma if I genuinely had zero interest in the character; I'd just suck it up and resign myself to romancing Bull only, but that's not the case.

See this is why I want to romance him with my Dalish mage sooooo bad. IMAGINE THE CONFLICT!!!! I mean I also have a very open-minded and curious mage, and he'd kill to see Par Vollen, but then there's the whole Saarebaas thing (I'm sure I misspelled that). So, dramz!

 

But then it might also be romantic to romance him with a Dalish rogue (or warrior) because then they could go off to Par Vollen together  EDIT: And hope they're not separated and entered into the Qunari breeding program

Cullen's hed iz (still) pastede on yay, but that's a cool look into the style of our Inquisition. I'm veeeery curious as to who some of those people in the background with our advisors are, specially the hooded figure, the turban/fancy hat guy, and the smith.

 

I wish Cullen's concept art post wasn't so derpy, though, saggy shoulders and all. He's a general, commander, something or another, he needs to look more imposing!

No, not even a little bit taunting and you KNOW I wish you could have all the romance options you desire.

I'm beginning to think your problem with Dorian is that you've become too fixated on the 'tashe. Maybe, stop looking at him until the release and then once you're experiencing the game you'll get so swept up in the story and David's amazing character writing , you will hardly even notice it anymore...and you can headcannon in cute lovers quarrels over persuading him to shave.

I held off romancing Zevran for ages because I didn't find him particularly attractive but once I started the romance it became my favourite (I still think his is a more complex and fulfilling love story than Alistair's - even if a Alistair IS my all time favourite character.). I just kind of forgot that I'd ever thought he was a little homely and honestly he just became attractive through the story telling. So, I know it's not impossible that you may feel the same about Dorian. I hope so anyway because I want you to be happy.

I love me some Blackwall, but I fear the Thane ending.  

 

That's exactly why I'm so leery of a Blackwall romance.  I may play it through eventually but only after seeing where the story with him is going.  It was so dang emotionally tough with Thane, that my canon Shepard completely avoided any hint of romance with him after all was said and done.  I cried like a baby, regardless.

I don't know, I think Cassandra and Josephine are the best looking companions.  But I'm also a straight guy, so there's a built in bias there.

 

Hehe, I'm a straight gal and I'm still planning a sweet playthrough involving Dorian.

Really, the only DA2 romance that ended in tragedy was Anders. All the other ones ended the game rather well.

It's fun being hyped and planning ahead, but looking back at my DAO and DA2 experiences, some characters I liked the looks of turned out offputting and some characters I didn't like at first glance completely won me over once I got to talk to them.

It kinda makes me sad to see it confirmed that Master Wade is no longer our smith (I know David had already said no more Wade & Herren before, but I'm nothing if not optmistic! ); but at the same time, look at that BAMF. If that's the guy rebuilding my hold or smithing my armors, this Inquisition has already won.

Artemis - Trust in the magic of the Gaider, you WILL love Dorian. There will be joy, laughter and flutterings of eyelashes...and then something really horrible will happen and you'll end up sobbing on your bedroom floor for a week.

He looks pretty grumpy, doesn't he? I wonder if any of the companions will hang around his forge and bother him.
