I'm going to do the same thing too and have only positive, boundary respecting, imaginary relationships....stupid-leaving-me-after-sex-and-then-being-all-you-can't-sleep-with-Zevran-3-years-later-Fenris. My pixels won't take it anymore (except probably from Cullen, Dorian, Blackwall, Cassandra or Sera) but Ironbull and Solas had better tow the damn line

Have you ever played the Anomen romance from BG2?  The most challenging romance in the BioWare games, I think.  He's a haughty, prickly, insecure braggart ( a victim of an abusive father) that grows a lot in a sort of journey of discovery over the course of the story, but man it was hard to deal with him at first.  The romance was added after the character's personality was done, so David had a major challenge for that one.  Heh.

 

Long story short - I feel your pain.

It's fun being hyped and planning ahead, but looking back at my DAO and DA2 experiences, some characters I liked the looks of turned out offputting and some characters I didn't like at first glance completely won me over once I got to talk to them.

Yeah, I started out thinking Alistair was way too much of a puppy, but set out to romance him on my first PT anyway because I wanted to be queen. Then decided that he matured a lot through the game and he grew on me. And I didn't like Leliana at first, but she grew on me a lot (her DLC helped change my opinion), though to judge by her behavior in the gameplay demo, I'm going to love the older Leliana. I liked Shale from the beginning and only like her more as time goes on, while my opinion of Zevran and Morrigan hasn't really changed much. But I like Sten and Wynne less than I did at first, oddly.

Pretty sure they are, yeah. The other artworks in the same set as this one had important characters depicted for each culture, like Tallis/Arishok/Salit on the qunari one, Celene/Gaspard/Prosper on the Orlais one, etc.

 

Maybe not every person in the figure (some look like generic foot soldiers), but the more distinctive looking ones, like the smith, the fancy hat guy, the hooded guy, and the military-looking fellows, those I'm reasonably sure are going to be either your close staff (like the three advisors), or allies you recruit along the way.

Same here.  I love DA2's male LIs, and I think their story arcs were fascinating.  But if I had a dollar for each time I wanted to strangle one of them, I might actually be able to get the fancy-pants Inquisitor Edition  "GODDAMNIT ANDERS/FENRIS/SEB" was basically my warcry for DA2.

I'm glad too! I've never done any same sex romances before (it just never occurred to me before) but I am definitely making a male quizzy to romance Dorian, he's bloody hot! I'm also looking forward to my femquizzy being rejected by Dorian (hopefully we can still try flirting with him at first)

Indeed. Anders just have the potential of a tragic Romance. Which Would be Why I might decide to try another Romance other then Isabela. Though non-story related I'd like to try Fenris on day. I'm a straight male, but I love his VA .

No, it did happen. I think Lolalei said that originally They wanted to make him older originally. My point is that his concept Without the DA2 head copy-paste reflects his older original look too. I don't know if there are concepts about his new younger look.

Just curious to think if they are included how far back or update to date their appearance will be
