I though they were gonna have different backstories, dalish elves for instance?
Didn't they get rid of back stories because of adding races, but the race and class you choose will have more reactivity value in the game itself with NPCs?

Elu, you probably missed my post, so I'll re-post it. Do you remember how Justice helped closing a tear in DAA?
Sh!t, my bad. Didn't see it. BevH answered it though.
Actually, Mark Darrah obscurely said that the Mage class will have an additional blurb to their story surrounding the whole veil tear thing.
WHAT. HOW IN THE FLYING **** DID I MISS THAT.
No, I'm pretty sure mages will have a separate origin.
 Not my rules, but MMG has had similar pics deleted by mods. Given the profanity filter on the forum, doesn't make sense that it would be ok to use it in pics instead.
Well I guess. I just wonder why there is so tight rules.. maybe it's cultural thing since in Finland curse words are quite daily thing used by all age groups, there is no media filter for them either only little childrens shows are free from cursing XD Different kind of mentality towards then I guess. Hmm, I have to be careful I have cursed couple times and wondered what the stars are for XD

Hmph. You believe Lola but not me ![]()
You mean background. Human mages will have a separate one from the human warrio/rogue, but we'll start from the same point in DAI.
Don't tell me what I mean! *snaps fingers* (Yeah, that.)
I'd actually really love this
that kind of angst is right up my alley
Me too! I bet there will be some downside to being able to close veil tears. Maybe the more power/larger the main tear grows, or the more power the "big bad" generates the more negative effects start afflicting our Inquisitor or something?

Since this is an official forum related to a product, it's probably a liability issue.

We slowly grow mad?! ![]()

Easily done, it was during one of the big news influx. He didn't explain it all that well either, I talk about it in one of my videos... I have no idea which one though.

I just hope we get a happy ending. Specifically where we don't fly into a big tear and commit "heroic" suicide.
And if that is what we get I will cry.

I'm sure some of it cultural. Some of it I'll bet is just doing whatever they can to limit "hate" words on the forums. The filter also takes out certain trigger words that aren't profanity, like s l u t.
We slowly grow mad?!
LOL, imagine that!

I have a good memory for facts and trivia and crap, so I can remember almost everything they've announced, but I can never provide proof lol!

Ooo, perhaps Cullen will start to worry about the inquisitor?

If I have to walk into that green Fade beam, I swear I'll be shitting bricks!

They have said there is a post game, so I don't think we're necessarily gonna die.

At least it's not blue this time. ![]()
I'd love to have a spirit of hope or something in the Inquisitor because it appeals to me... But I could see other gamers being turned off by something they see as restrictive to their RP value? Like "I don't want to be forced to be filled with hope!" -- or not? Maybe it would be an undefined spirit... ness....
...ugh, it's the afternoon drag for me, my coherency is failing. I miss caffeine.
"What?! I don't want to be filled with hope! Why can't I be filled with the spirit of badassedness?! I hate hope, my Inquisitor is an emo, dammit!"

Red all the way!
