Great, I hadn't even thought of that one yet...

    All he could see before him was that bright red light before him, surrounded by a corona of darkness. At the center of that violent light was a large red crystal, hanging unsupported in the air, slowly turning. These thoughts played through Cullen’s mind, along with a startling and horrific realization. He knew exactly where he had been taken, and he was in great danger.

 

    He heard a great rumbling within the darkness, a sound of heavy footsteps that shook the earth. Great rasping breaths filled the dim cavern, setting Cullen’s heart aflame with fear. As the gargantuan footsteps came closer, a horrific figure stepped into the light of the floating crystal. What had once been a man was no more. In all its terrible glory stood a being that remained one of Cullen’s greatest nightmares. A crystalline creature now stood in silence, watching the man who floated in time with the giant red crystal. This behemoth, more crystal than man, glowed a fierce, violent red that hurt to stare at for too long. Cullen began to hear subtle whispers, careless snatches of noise that seemed to beat in time with quiet and discordant melodies that flitted through his mind.

On the twitch stream, apparently one of the choices is our relationship with Cullen. Either he and Hawke were friends or enemies. I'm wondering if anyone notices any differences with Cullen in DA2 that could determine this. Does his greeting in Act 3 in DA2 change? I got his "Hawke is less of a friend to the Templars" one before but I forget what he says otherwise. Any of you could help?

I got the "old friend" greeting on friendly/neutral playthroughs, and the "less of a friend" on a more hostile one.

Am I the only one who thinks he looks better in DA2 than in Inquisition so far?  Or it could just be that I don't really like super realistic graphics.

I had a little of that at the very beginning - I mean I loved his DA2 model and it was what I was used to - but now? Honestly? I'm totally in love with his DAI version. Head over heels. I love that he's not perfection and that he looks like a person who has actually experienced some things in life. And  the way he freakin' moves and speaks? So...manly. Rawr.

Yeah, I'm absolutely sure that the movement will make all the difference.    His face still looks a bit round to me, though.  I'm sure he will be fiiiiiine. 

 

I found a nice mod to make him look more like his DA2 self in Origins, and he is just so droolworthy.  I remember when I first saw him in DA2 and was like "Wha?  Cullen?  When/how did you get so hot???!!!"

I'm pretty confident the Warden won't just be "they went to their calling and died lol" because that feels like a cheap cop out. I still think they'll be mentioned but not seen, busy doing grey warden junk somewhere else

 

I agree. There is no way they will kill the Warden off. There would be too much outrage.

That was another great video from Lola.  So many giggles and very informative.  The high point however has to be Lola's fake, I think it was supposed to be American, accent.  It has to be heard to be believed.

I agree. There is no way they will kill the Warden off. There would be too much outrage.

I never say "never" but I'd be severely shocked if they off the Warden.

In my mind, he has to wrestle those noodles into some semblance of order every morning and my Quizy will get to watch.

If I side with the Templars it's a defo on the "friend" bit. Siding with the mages nets you the "less of a friend" banter. I think if you stay neutral and don't choose either side, you may also get the "friend" chaff too. My memory isn't all that great though, no doubt someone else will know for sure .
