I don't seriously think they can use clipping excuse there. It would be relevant if it was about super longhair. For example Arishok from DA2 had 100-times better hair than female quizzys now have and it was in DA2 and this is our protagonist we are talking about. We have to look our protagonist all the time during the game and they should have took something else away than hairstyles (or making better hairstyles since few good are better than many bad ones).

You also have to in account that it's a new game engine, and that the Arishok was an NPC who doesn't have to worry about customization for clipping (even though his hair did sometimes clip through his horns)

I'm amazed at the hate for the CC!  I was watching it in awe, I love it!  Yeah the hairstyles aren't exactly what I would wear in real life but I'm sure I can find something to suit...

They were able to do so great CC otherwise but then when it come to hair they just decided okay we will give 3 very bad hair-looks for fem!qunari and then one bald one? I mean the bun is okayish but it's still just very simple bun, it doesn't even look that nice it's just flat bun. I don't think they have any excuse for this. They should have took away time from elsewhere, even fewer horn options or take away hair options for another races since people simple don't want to play with bad hair-do, it's crucial.

 

Sigh I'm just very sad and dumbfounded, this is far worse than I was imagining it would be. I should stop complaing about it on here though.

You guys saw what qunari ladies have for hairstyles? CC otherwise was awesome but when I play game I'd except that I'm able to pick even one good hairstyle for my character. With as big and good CC as DAI otherwise has I though I'd have options but I don't really have.

Yes, I did.  IMO the horns are what make the race visually iconic more than the hair, and those looked great.  Hairstyles were eh.  But while I may WANT more hairstyles, I don't NEED more.

 

That's just my opinion, though.  Hopefully there will be hair mods for the folks who want it; people managed to get hair mods working in Mass Effect 3, and that game has no toolset and a difficult engine.  Fingers crossed.

Of course I saw the options, and if I'm honest I was expecting there to be more there were, but I don't think the options they did have were horrendous. You can do so much with the face that I think that will almost overtake the hair options.  You can make them so striking with all the options.  

But then I guess I go into games without any expectations really - I tend to be a wait and see kind of person to avoid disappointment. I guess if you'd already decided you wanted your qunari female to have flowing locks then I can see how it would be disappointing, like the people who decided who they would romance without waiting to see who was romancable.

Me too... I finally got done with my homework (after watching the cc and part of the demo) and I was coming here to be all happy about some of the customize options that we have never had before in any game, and I just decided to go find a corner to be happy in by myself lol.

 

I was super excited for scars that you can change how intense they are, in addition to move them around your face and neck.  And neck and customise options... that is exciting.  (Also ear lobes!)  And so many different options for customising makeup so you could have eyeliner, and softer color of teal so its not liek 80s retro (which is awesome to me... I do blues, but the blues in previous games left ALOT to be desired).  And lipliner (woopwoop).  And then EYELASHES!!! That was like screeching level of excitement.

 

Maybe I'm just stupid, but after so much cancer in my family hair doesnt mean a great deal to me, so to see it be the ONLY thing that matters to people is kinda like >>>> Ill be over there >>>> excited about makeup  >>>>  that way.

Bald with horns isn't really good either. It kinda ruins whole look.

 

Also it seems that frostbite isn't modable and I have PS3 so not option for me.

Agree with Sable Rhapsody - qunari are iconic without the hair.  But yeah, I'm sure there will be hair mods fairly soon - someone will find a way, I mean crikey there are some ridiculous mods out there, I'm sure someone will figure out how to drape some hair round a pair of horns!

I was too! I've already begun roughly (and poorly) sketching my qunari inquisitors now that we've seen the hair/horn options. Too much negativity, we should be happy to be able to play as a qunari at all, and that's coming from me, a normally extremely negative person

I thought there were some serious roleplay options with adam's apples availble to be customised across both sexes.  I was thinking about doing a transgender qunari female... Oh the romantic head cannon to play with that (bats eyelashes that are now available in CC)

I loved the cc, and I'm looking froward to playing around with it in Nov! Like a some of you I am a bit disappointed by the hair options for the female Qunari. The horns look amazing, but I was really hoping for some long hair with my long horns. I'm sure I'll get use to it and love it, but right now I'm kind of disappointed. I loved everything else about the cc though! I'm sure my first couple of characters will end up looking like Cameron's until I get use to the cc

My two biggest goals for this game are to make Cole and Cullen smile
