So I haven't been able to post images for a while and I'm just testing to see if I can finally get it to work.  So these are just random pictures of my girls - if they show up that is instead of a silly blue picture box.  I'll spoiler it, so I don't mess up the thread.

As to Cullen's lip scar, I actually hadn't given it much thought, do you think it's something they'll address as having been obtained since the events of DA2?

I'm curious about that too. I hope he'll tell us (and that it'll be something more interesting than a shaving accident).

Thanks Mademon, that's really sweet of you to say.  I suppose I should delete the pictures now anyway though because I know the links are working again and I don't want to get in trouble for irrelevant picture posting but yeah I think they're adorable too and I couldn't be prouder of my little sparkle-angels.

The CC is amazing. Wish they showed more elves, especially for the vallaslin options. Still don't know which hairstyle my Elidri's getting either. I was kinda disappointed by the fact the qunari hair options seem so limited, but I do see why.

And as for the lack of heal, I'm actually pretty excited by this. No longer will I need to have my party mage ignore the cool spells for the smart, healing spells.

The CC seems very Good so far, Except the choice in horns/hair of qunari. It doesn't bother me that much (I didn't have many qunari planned and I can work with those choices), but I can see why people are disappointed.

Agreed on healing...though you might want to improve in Spirit if the Focus Group heal spell is still in .

Yeah, I know I wanted my Hissra to have long hair so I'm going with the bun. I want to have another, better look at the horns before I choose, but I'll probably go for the vanilla looking ones.

And yeah, my Hissra will definitely be primarily Spirit regardless with Solas and Dorian dabbling, and I can still headcanon she's a good healer even if she technically never does it.

I'm absolutely loving the CC, it's much more in depth and customisable than I was expecting, and those scars? My gawd, so cool! Shame there isn't more Qunari hair options but it must be kinda tricky specifically with the horns and stuff. Would liked to have gotten a better look at the hair colours, apparently you can't colour wheel those like you can with the eyes, but I'm sure it'll be fine!

I might put some points on spirit on Fëanor as well, since I'll change the party a lot and it's possible sometimes he'll be the only mage present. Plus Barrier seems very useful.

So, in the CC the default Inquisitor can be seen standing up in the Fade, then we fiddle about with our character to make him/her look how we wanted, then once he/she is ready (according to that YT CC video they uploaded) it panned out with the Inquisitor looking around as the spirit lady with the weird hat reaches out to him/her... soooo do you suppose that's how the game begins? With us starting out in the Fade, rather than the player actually getting to run around the peace gathering before it blows up? Or do you reckon they just specifically cut bits out when showing us?

Unless that's just the fancy intro/outro CC sequence and then after the spirit lady reaches out the game just starts properly where we're heading into the peace gathering, then when we do actually land in the Fade the whole spirit lady thing plays out properly. Ah, I dunno, lol.

It's just occured to me that I'm gonna need to sit a mirror right next to me and take some clear shots of things like my ears and eyes to get the bloody shapes and colours right... good grief!

I like the starting outfit. It's nice to start with a slight armoured outfit for mages, and not the Classic robes.

I can't really get happy with CC anymore since many of my characters are going to be qunaris and those hair options are just lacking. Although I hoped medium lenght one's (shoulder lenght or even neck), that's not biggest problem. The overall quality of qunari hair textures just is lacking, the quality of hair is very bad and they are so flat too, no volume there.

 

Hair is even more important to qunari than other races since they won't be able to use helmets at all so no covering up that hair.

 

Really BW isn't making it easy or pleasant to play qunari

There are Indeed limitations for the qunari in the CC (plus the tattoo as an helm replacement), and I'm sorry for you (and the others). Though I'll probably find myself some combinations that I can work with (some options weren't bad for me).

To be fair, hair has never been BioWare's strong point so I wasn't expecting anything spectacular with it's styles and textures. That aside, the face customisation is so good that (for me) the hair styles kinda take a back seat, although I doubt I'll be able to recreate my current hair colour in there since it kinda just borders on the unnatural side, lol.
