I don't suppose anyone recorded the CC stream in a good quality last night, did they? I wanna rip that music out of it at the beginning because it's stunning.

I don't think I'm able to find any hairstyle that looks good for my qunaris, the horns are very nice but all of 4 hairstyles for qunaris are simply bad. My poor Valpur and Skye will practically be bald : / It's also confirmed that they are all locked, all I can pray for is DLC with hair options for qunaris. The current one's in quality-wise don't live up to even DAO.

I agree, and qunari is the only one who really suffer. I like the other races' options. To be fair, hair has never been BioWare's strong point so I wasn't expecting anything spectacular with it's styles and textures. That aside, the face customisation is so good that (for me) the hair styles kinda take a back seat, although I doubt I'll be able to recreate my current hair colour in there since it kinda just borders on the unnatural side, lol.
I'd like this, as long as they're Free dlc.I don't think I'm able to find any hairstyle that looks good for my qunaris, the horns are very nice but all of 4 hairstyles for qunaris are simply bad. I actually preferred DAO's CC over DA2. While the latter has more hairstyle, I really didn't like the fact that they seem to be made of plastic.

I slightly prefer DA2 style-wise it had pretty many options I liked and looked pretty good. I also had DAO with lowest settings on the PC so quality of hair wasn't that good there, some of hair styles were really flat like current qunari options but there was more variety and some were at least better looking.

I wish I could have heard Sumalee better, but the strength behind it stood out the most - not that I don't love Alix, of course.
Still not sure who I will choose for Anais though; I will just have to hear the voices again, or wait until I have the game in my hands. XD
Your posts about her make me LOL - that's my RL name (well, mine is the irish version of it)!
I do have scars, and had my nose broken years ago, but it healed OK.

I like the starting outfit. It's nice to start with a slight armoured outfit for mages, and not the Classic robes.
Those damnable robes were awful, glad to see that the first act of most mages after the Circle's disbanded was to yell "Keep yer poxy dresses!"
I can't really get happy with CC anymore since many of my characters are going to be qunaris and those hair options are just lacking. Although I hoped medium lenght one's (shoulder lenght or even neck), that's not biggest problem. The overall quality of qunari hair textures just is lacking, the quality of hair is very bad and they are so flat too, no volume there.
Hair is even more important to qunari than other races since they won't be able to use helmets at all so no covering up that hair.
Really BW isn't making it easy or pleasant to play qunari
Yeah it sucks because the Male Qunari Inquisitor concept art made him look like an utter pimp, the kind of guy who you know walks into a nightclub and attracts the attention of every man and woman within the joint.
In reality however, the lack of decent hair compared to those glorious horns is kind of a letdown.

Yeah, that was always the biggest downside for me in playing a DAO mage - the robes. I mean, you can't do magic without a breeze blowing up your skirt?
I love the CC, I think it'll be a blast to tinker with. I agree that the qunari hair is a bit of a let down compared to the rest since they have to look at whatever they give their PC all the time. I know hair movement, etc. is resource intensive, but nice braid would have been nice and wouldn't have been too complex. Ah, well, maybe DLC.
Edited: Because I shouldn't be trusted to spell before I finish my first cup of coffee.

And as for the lack of heal, I'm actually pretty excited by this. No longer will I need to have my party mage ignore the cool spells for the smart, healing spells.
I can't say I'm excited, but I'm going to put it in the list of things like only having 8 abilities accessible at a time that I'm going to try to believe they've worked out well, at least until I see it. They seem to pay a lot of attention to their fans, and I can't imagine they'd intentionally make a game irritating.

Got to watch the character creation video finally. Lots of options. I probably won't spend more than 15 minutes in it though - I've found that if I spend too long in it, the character starts getting freakishly ugly without my intending to. Not sure why. Perhaps because I take pains to know what's inside my character's head but have truly little idea what they look like on the outside, so I have no "look" to strive for? Ah well.

Does anyone plan, for artistic/aesthetic reasons, to create their Cullen romancer's appearance for visual effect? Contrast - dark hair to light, or similar - same hair color, etc.?

That tends to happen to me.
My poor Courier in Fallout: New Vegas ended up with a bit of an overbite due to me trying to stop his chin clipping into his beard. One of these days I'm going get around to doing Old World Blues and get the Auto-Doc to fix that unfortunate oversight. (Yeah, it usually takes me over 3 years to play a Bethesda game).

Well originally I want my qunari to be taller than him for visual effect. Now I haven't exactly planned any visual effects but they will look quite different. Milica Trevelyan will have red hair, black eyes and pretty tanned skin. I think they will look good together ![]()

I have the same problem yet I still have to spend forever doing it. Call it a compulsion.
You know what would be hilarious.... what if you made a character that was so purposefully ugly that the companions and LI's comment on it or worse, shut you down? lol

Wasn't thinking specifically for effect, but I suppose the end result will be - Elke will have darker brown hair and green eyes, so there will be a contrast.

I had not thought to do that. For some reason, I always end up making my cannon a redhead. (Living vicariously! Yay!) Matching Cullen's hair may actually bother me when I think about it. Weird. Good question.

That sounds very attractive! And yes, I think there'd be a nice complimentary effect (if that makes sense, still drinking morning coffee).
I've only tried to create a specific look twice, I tried to create a female HN and CE who looked as much like the rest of their family as possible. I did pretty well with the HN, but she went poof with my harddrive crash, so she wasn't meant to be.
On a related thought - is anyone planning to make a mage to romance Cullen who looks as much like their Warden mage as possible? Just for angst effect, of course... ![]()

Well, I'm planning on making my Human Inquisitors with a darker hair and complexion than most of the rest of the Free Marchers we've seen thus far, with my headcanon being that the Trevelyans were originally either Rivaini or Nevarran expats who made it big in Ostwick. It'd also add some delicious irony to the family being ridiculously pro-Chantry when Rivain and Nevarra are well-known known for having a lot of practicioners of the more fringe and esoteric uses of magic... leading me to think that much like Isolde in Origins, they probably had a notorious mage ancestor (or several) that's the real reason they doth protest too much.
On the other hand, Morie's artwork of her Lavellan and Cullen is so adorable, it's making me seriously consider rolling an Elf instead to romance Cullen with first. In that case, she'll probably offset Cullen's golden noodleliness with flaming redhair and a ton of freckles. Cliche I know, but it's well known that heroes want redheads.

Yeah, I've thought about going with something more Antivan in appearance. But Morie's Lavellan/Cullen really does make that idea appealing (kind of like I'm fighting not to redirect my Zhenya at Blackwall because of Aimo's art.) ![]()
