Or just more slowly scrolling through the hair options Also, qunari dude hair better suck as much as female qunari hair... otherwise, totally not fair :| And lame that we can't even make hair that Sten or the Arishok or, hell, every-DA2-qunari-ever had.

I seem to follow a pattern, not intentionally but all my Mahariels end up very light blonde. My Couslands have dark to mid brown hair, my Tabris' are all redheads and my mages both Suranas and Amells have black hair. 

My Hawkes are mainly black haired but sometimes I throw in some reds or blondes just for variety.

 

And if were talking about Sheps, again not intentional but I found that my Kaidan romances all have black hair, Garrus romances have blonde hair and Thane romances have red hair.

Oooh, I always like PC censuses.  Censuses?  Is that right?  How the hell do you pluralize that and make it not sound stupid?

 

DA:O--two redheads, Amell and Tabris.

 

DA2--one blonde lady Hawke, one brunette ManHawke

 

Mass Effect--one black-haired FemShep, one blonde ManShep

 

SW:TOR--one blonde Sith Inquisitor, one bald Bounty Hunter

 

That's interesting.  Blondes are my most represented hair color.  I thought for sure it was going to be brunettes/black hair.

Well my count for DA and ME games is:

 

4 black: Cousland twins and 2 Shepards.

3 blonds: 2 Hawkes and 1 Shepard.

2 brown: 1 Hawke and 1 Shepard.

1 white: Warden.

 

Blacks are leading. For DAI I'm planning 2 white/grey (qunari one's.. ugh the hair options still are killing me), 1 blond elf, 1 redhead human and 1 brunette human. So no blacks there, suprising!

In Origins I had 2 blondes, 2 brunettes, 2 red heads, 3 with black hair, and 1 with white hair. My (only) Orlesian warden had black hair and all (10) of my Hawkes had black hair. I always used good old red head default femShep :3

I'm planning for Inquisition to have 3 brunettes, 1 blonde, 1 red head, 1 with black hair, and 4 with white.

In Origins I had...two redheads...two black haired Wardens, and one blonde Warden. So my hair styles really kind of depends on my mood.

 

In DA2 I had two redheads, two black haired Hawkes, and two white haired Hawkes; I have to say the two white haired Hawkes were quite stunning with the contrast to their eyes and skin tone. My Male Hawke also had black eyebrows and black stubble so it made him stand out rather well.

 

 

In ME I had black haired and red haired Sheps.

My female wardens were not very noteworthy, but my male humans, and all had the same face, had brown hair, but black for the Amell mage to match the default Hawke family. Cullen's hairstyle was the only one I ever used for my males. Its a winner.

My female wardens are typically the most stunning or noteworthy but ever now and again, I do make a decent male...those presets for the guys just killed me most of the time.

And I'm thinking about making Quizzy black headed or ginger. I haven't decide it yet.

I like to use concept art and/or preset appearance and then tweak it a little.  

 

My Neria Surana is my favorite character, and I'm playing through her again currently, this time romancing Alistair because I can't handle what BioWare did to Zevran, in terms of storyline (bugs) and appearance.  Though I'll probably play through the Zevran romance again with my concept art Mahariel who I made female instead of male.

 

My favorite Aedan Cousland is the badass trailer one.  Queen Annis Cousland is a ginger rogue, as is Darrien Tabris.  I also use the mod that makes DAO elves look more like DA2 ones, but not quite so fugly.  You can't see it on her portrait, but Neria has a scar on her face that looks a lot like the concept art as well.

As far as Hawkes go, I have a huge crush on default male Hawke, so I can't use anything other than that setting (without stupid looking blood smear, thank you).  Not to mention that Mr. Boulton could read a phone book and I'd need a cold shower.  Every time I try to change male Hawke, I feel like his voice just does not fit his face.  Default female Hawke is the only face that even looks remotely different than anything else, but I usually give her Morrigan's hair just because I prefer long hair.

 

So far my count is 1 white hair, 2 redheads, and 3 brunettes, unless you're counting the same face on multiple playthroughs.

I'm very much NOT an art person.  I'm lucky if I can do stick figures, and digital art is entirely beyond me.  So...how exactly am I going to get more natural skin and hair colors (brown, beige, etc.) using that color wheel?

My canon warden is a ginger,my canon Hawke has black hair and my canon inquisitor is a brunette...So yeah variety!
I really excited for the CC,the hair is ok but thankfully there's a neck-length hairstyle available for guys so yeah I'll be able to make Aidan my human rogue!!Not to mention the option to have "unnatural" eye colour,hurray for yellow eyes!

As someone with blue hair, this actually disappoints me I wish I could give my quizzies really vibrant, crazy hair. Heck, I didn't even see a really vibrant red as a choice, which is a bit disappointing.

I think I want to be a dwarf now. My canon Warden was a Dwarf Noble, but I was always a sucker for a Dwarf Commoner/

For my Warden's appearances;

I figured my Amell Warden was someone who was fairly practical when it came to his appearance, letting his black hair grow out and then tying it back into a short ponytail to keep it out of the way, which keeping his beard short and well trimmed. I also gave him blue eyes, since that eye colour seems to be a fairly common family trait judging by Leandra, Gamlen, Carver and FemHawke.

 

My Dwarf Commoners have green eyes and red hair tied back into either a ponytail or pigtails depending on their gender, making them look a lot like Rica. The Male Dwarf also has a short stubbly goatee, since most Casteless tend to not go for full beards. And I don't know why, but everytime I look at my female Dwarf Commoner, the immediate word that comes to mind is "bubbly".

 

Dwarf Nobles tend to have pale blond hair and blue eyes like Bhelen and Trian (and presumably Endrin before it turned white), with having the "Cailan" hairstyle with a short beard with few braids and the female having it in a short ponytail.

 

City Elf is another green-eyed redhead, to resemble both their cousins Soris and Shianni. Their hair tends to be short and rather messy, with or without simple facial tattoos depending on whether the mood strikes me?

 

Dalish Elves tend to have more regal black hair and green eyes, with the full face tattoo for a male and the upper half tattoo for women.

 

Human Nobles have dark brown hair (like their father, sibling and nephew) and green eyes (like their mother), with short hair for the men and longer hair for the women, while men share their father and sibling's goatee (it must be genetic). It made sense to me that there'd be an obvious resemblance since every single noble in the game immediately pegs you as "Bryce's son/daughter" when you meet them.
