So if it was hard to write them as romances, but easy with Solas and Cullen--both whom happen to be straight--then I say go for it. Because I would rather see them write a romance that makes sense than write a romance that doesn't and it winds up being bad.
Just coming from a very personal place, I do wish they hadn't made Cullen a romance at all because every time someone talks excitedly about romancing him, it's like a dagger through the heart lol
Well yeah nobody wants romances that don't make sense.
I have a feeling Bianca shows up in DAI. Love rekindles
That's gonna be sweet. (Though, again, I'm intrigued by what-might-have-been concerning a Varric romance.)
I'm sure Vivienne has an EXCELLENT reason for not being romance-able (no sarcasm there actually). Cause otherwise I imagine it would've been her and Solas/Cullen who were added (not both Solas and Cullen).
But I'm just saying Cullen and Solas were obviously written as straight romances due to time and resources. I think it would've been fairer to make Solas bi and elf-only and leave out Cullen completely. Of course that would still leave lesbian PCs with only two choices.
