Yeah. It could be someone else, it could just be the decaying corpse of Anders. Depends if Justice decided to move out or could afford to pay the rent without the roommate.
Or possessed Hawke.

Do you see Cullen as the hunter type? for some reason, I find it really hard to imagine him hunting and killing rabbits or deer, I suppose most soldiers or travellers probably would but I just can't picture him doing it.
My Inquisitor certainly wouldn't hunt, she's a gatherer lol if left to her own devices, it would be berries all the way whilst on missions, what about you guys, would your quizzys be the hunter or the gatherer?. Although I imagine most, if not all of our travelling companions would be more than capable of supplying dinner.
I'd imagine the Dalish do both hunting and gathering, since agriculture and a nomadic lifestyle don't exactly mix
My Inquisitor is unlikely to, say, hunt down all the bears in an area or pick every last elfroot. She's been taught to take what she needs, and nothing more. We'll see if roleplaying or gameplay ease winds up taking priority for me, though.
As for Cullen, I wonder if templars are even taught how to hunt; the Circle seems to provide their practical needs before the big blow-up in Asunder. I mean, templars can certainly fight and kill things, but tracking down a deer and turning it into food is a bit different from driving your sword through a mage.
My quizzy is pragmatic....huntress, who wears furs, because if you hunt, it should be edible and the leather/fur used to provide clothing/armour. Bear skin rug in front of the fire....
...I have a dog in real life...guess I'm a closet Ferelden.
Soooo, those of you in the Keep I highly suggest you go into the companions section in the DA2 part of the tapestry, scroll over to the the end and have a little look at what's popped up in there. ![]()
I am replaying DAO again, help to refresh my memory for the Keep and I just thought of something. I am sure it has been discussed before, but wanted to know what the consensus was. If Cullen was a templar at the Circle and Surana and Amell both exist did Cullen have a crush on both of them? Was Jowan friends with both of them and did either die during there Harrrowing (example if you pick Surana-Cullen had to cut Amell down in Harrowing) or did they never make it to the Circle at all?
Also, with the whole Jowan blood magic thing--Greagoir has eyewitness testimony--does anybody else think if this had been Kirkwall's Circle Meredith instead of making him Tranquil would of just had him executed? Same with Anders for escaping the Circle numerous times?
Well I do love both those things in that picture.Yeah. I wonder if anything will come of that.
Of topic: your name reminds me of this picture.
Could be! I was thinking Adrian though. Not sure how they would meet, but I think those two would get along famously.Or possessed Hawke.

Devs said that Anders is dead if you murder-knifed him. Justice, on the other hand, is up for grabs
I hope that Justice is back. I like him.

Cullen had crush on both, Jowan was friends with both, the stories are identical for elf and human mage warden except that other is related to Hawke.
I don't think there is official view if the all warden options lived in the same universe and thus died when one came Warden. They might not exist in the same universe or they exist and died. Not in Harrowing though, mage always helped Jowan if they existed and were punished for it so they got whatever punishment Gregoir gave them in that moment. Maybe executed. Or they didn't exist.
I don't know enough of Meredith policies to know for sure. It could go either way, maybe tranquil if they cooperated and execute if they fought against.
@Koffeegirl
Good question. The suggestion is the option that you didn't take Solona or Surana dies in their Harrowing if you play the other as warden...but not sure on the Cullen front. I must admit that I've never thought of that.
Anyone else remember?

I do hope I can bring Adrian into the Inquisition.
I also hope that Justice without Anders becomes far worse than Anders with Justice, primarily because I don't believe in rewarding killing companions. To me, getting a reward for killing Anders in DAI is like getting one for selling Fenris.
The other origins exist in game. Playing Aeducan, and Brosca is mentioned as awaiting execution in the dungeons.

Oh okay, I didn't know this ^^
So everyone but warden you are playing died.. that's nice.
I don't know if they all 'die', but a fair number do. Think of the events happening to them without Duncan recruiting them...
Ukkkkk, so someone may be possessed by Justice/Vengeance...confirmed or suspected?
Saw it. Glad with how they handled the choiceSoooo, those of you in the Keep I highly suggest you go into the companions section in the DA2 part of the tapestry, scroll over to the the end and have a little look at what's popped up in there.

I do remember a comment that the "unused" mage origin characters were executed in their Harrowing, yes. Perhaps by Cullen?
And my current playthrough is going to be a renegade Anders romance. Good to know that he may still be alive in Inquisition. ![]()
I'm a really, really bad eater, incredibly fussy about how food looks and smells and pretty much a pain in the ass to feed lol, it got me thinking about food and diet in Thedas and if Cullen or any other companions would/could have likes/dislikes for certain foody things or if they just eat what is served to them and don't grumble about it, imagine if Cullen was vegetarian, would that be healthy for a soldier given the lack of supplements available? I don't know lol.

I don't see Cullen as a hunter... my headcanon actually is that he is a farmer's child ^^ Don't ask me why; I just picture him growing up on a farm with like 8 brothers and sisters and two hardworking parents. As for being a vegetarian... I don't think he's intelligent enough
Vegetarians are usually very intelligent and artistic people, artists, philosophers, and the like. Cullen is a soldier; he has trouble wrapping his head around other religions and cultures ![]()
If I had to guess who in DAI is a vegetarian, I'd go with Sera. I dunno why, perhaps because she's so socially conscious. It just goes with her personality and outlook.
I bet Iron Bull and Vivienne are both the type who would try anything. Mention animal suffering and their faces go blank; they just don't get it.
As for my characters, well, Auren literally is a hunter; he would venture off alone for days at a time and catch and cook his own food. Exotic foods would probably scare him lol
Kael is not a hunter; he's a scholar, but I bet as a child he got in trouble for zapping small animals. He likes sweet things.
Oh no!! I'm out of likes!!!!!
So I know we've discussed the "Were Hawke and Cullen friends?" issue. Would you guys say that a pro-templar Hawke would be friends with him while a pro-mage Hawke wouldn't?

I don't see what else it'd be determined by other than the "questioned in the square" conversation at the beginning of Act 3.

What conversation is that?
Okay cause my first two imports are a pro-mage Hawke followed by a pro-templar Hawke (who nevertheless supported the mages in the final battle because he's not, you know, a soulless automaton
). So I guess I'd select "not friends" and "friends," respectively.

The one where Meredith and Orsino are arguing in front of the Keep. At least, that'd be my guess.
I don't know if the keep will be able to reflect a pro-Templar hawke that sided with Orsino at the end, or the opposite. What conversation is that?

The choice was added in today's update. I don't think I/we can talk ok how it works here though.
*cough* Hey I'm just referencing the conversation we had here a few days ago, based on a screenshot of the Keep that featured Cullen
You'll notice I never actually mentioned the Keep itself...
