I just realised that a lot of this stuff, like upgrading armour, weapons etc is just like Bioware's SWTOR.

As long as it isn't a horrible grind like SWtOR just to have decent gear for your level. I enjoyed the customization, but not the tedium. I would LOVE to have gear in DAI whose look I think fits my Inquisitor's personality, but if it's annoying, I'll just use whatever drops. Appearance isn't that important to me. Though it would be nice if we could at least temporarily alter an advisor's clothes - I foresee Cullen's lion collar obscuring our view of hugs or kisses.

"When he comes to visit" - so should we expect a romance climax scene like Kaidan, Fenris etc seeking the Quiz in her quarters? That sounds pretty cute if we get an awkward conversation before sexytimes like with Kaidan... or potentially pretty hot if we go all angry makeout up against the wall like with Fenris.

One thing I loved about Fenris' romance is that the love scene (if you want to call it that; let's just say, "their first time together") happens midway through the story. They probably are intimate again after the make-up scene after "Alone," too, but that's not the emphasized point of the scene. And then there's the good-bye kiss. So sex was not the be all/end all here, and I loooooved that.

I felt like it was pretty obvious Kaidan and Shepard were regularly having sex throughout the story (even more so when Citadel is taken into account), and the sex scene was just pushed to the end to give a nice romantic goodbye to the romance before everything went to hell. I thought it was well placed, for the context. The same wouldn't have worked in DA2 because Hawke didn't know anything was going to happen when she/he woke up that day, so goodbye sex might have spoiled the ending twist. But it would have worked in DAO - instead of having to gag and make retching noises through Alistair and Morrigan's sex scene before marching against the archdemon in DAO, I'd really have appreciated a proper goodbye scene to my romance there. 

 

Similarly, I really hope that if we come to a clear last battle in Inquisition, Cullen can get a "goodbye" scene like Kaidan's. I don't wanna just up and leave him behind.

 

But! That's neither here nor there. Seeing as we're back to kissing and hitting it whenever we want and Liz mentioned her regular woo breaks, it looks like we don't have to worry about the first love scene coming too early/too late or there not being enough of it this time around. If we don't get a proper goodbye, at least we'll have the option to throw Cullen in bed and make our own goodbye at will.

I think if Shepard is male though it's pretty obvious (unless I missed something) that the love scene is the first time they've been together. Now I did play the Citadel but didn't make it through the party... I liked the mission part though Hilarious banters!
