Soo.... very interesting quest notes at the end of the new demo.
First, "Speak with the advisors at the War Table"? heh heh, don't mind if I do!
Second, they're spelling it advisors again, not advisers.
Third, "Go to the War Table to find the Warden." Guess we know that quest fails! LOL Or do we...? dun dun dun.

Nice intro to your inquisitor Eluvianus. And the last few lines were great.
I do think you captured the exact reason I'm going to romance Cullen with my Lavallen mage. I'm not sure a circle mage would deal well with him. Of course, my Lavallen may not either....
I think my circle mage will go for Dorian - two naïve change the world believers - what could go wrong with that?

I think it's actually Blackwall they're referring to. And since it says go to the Abyssal Reach, which is home to the Adamant Fortress...

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how my Inquisitor will deal with Cullen. Gale is very pro-Circle, but he isn't blind to what happened in the Gallows, and so desires to fix what was broken in the original Circle System.
I would like for there to be an allowance to let a Circle mage Inquisitor to have a brotherly relationship with Cullen, but both how I and my Inquisitor will feel about it during the game truly depends on Greg's delivery of the lines as well as how Cullen was written. I could very well end up hating his guts for the majority of the game. And I do hope he steps back from some of the "divine right" crap he was spouting in DA2, cause that wasn't cool.
Yeah, I agree with you on that. If he starts spouting all kinds of chantry nonsense about divine right that will be it for my elf. She's not too enthused about how mages are treated outside the Dalish clans anyway. I suspect if I can make the romance work it will definitely have sparks flying for multiple reasons. Poor Cullen might have to wait a long time for me to get back to his romance if she doesn't like him (I have 7 playthroughs planned already).

You think we'll recruit Blackwall at Adamant?
You think we'll recruit Blackwall at Adamant?
It'd certainly be one way to make one hell of an introduction lol. I think Blackwall will be in the middle of Warden-y things when we find him, wherever that is. Adamant is just the one thing in Orlais that strikes me as being "Warden-y". The only other place is Montsimmard, the Orlesian GW HQ, though I don't think we will necessarily be going there....
But then again, Viv's the First Enchanter of Montsimmard, so maybe.
At the end of the day, based on what knowledge we have now, I think we'll encounter Blackwall at Adamant or in Montsimmard.

I thought his char profile said he is/was stationed in Montsimmard? Gosh, I still know so little about him.
"The Warden" comment could also be the Commander C---l that we're searching for in adamant. I was reckoning it was some kind of Warden gone bad, since we were, you know, fighting them.

Maybe, I have no clue.
As to Blackwall, that wasn't in his character profile. We only know he was at Montsimmard via that decade old letter that had his name in the World of Thedas.
New "demo" sort of
Hm...it's still being played with a controller even on the PC.
I want to see what the PC UI will look like. Do we get the task bars like the previous games or not?
Anyway, it looks good, and the sound effects are fantastic.
So....I wrote a Cullen thing.
-think of it as the Inquisitor's introduction to Cullen
I wrote one of these too.
I posted it here before, asking for advice about Cullen's character in the scene, but now its up on fanfiction.net. My angry mage inquisitor didn't let him off the hook so easily as Gale. And just a tiny review, I think you could strengthen your writing if you eliminated some of your adverbs. I like them, you like them, but they are our sworn enemies... ![]()

EEE GAHD! ![]()
Maybe it's Blackwall?
OMG, seriously, tell me about it! Brynjolf is fine. For me, it's all about Ulfric.
Almost forgot about him!! *drool* I very nearly wrote some very, very risque fanfic centering around Ulfric... still might some day. ![]()
Yes, he will added to my wood elf's harem, bwahahaha! Btw, anyone want to PM me their favorite Skyrim mods, feel free to do so ^^ Also anything that makes the elves not look, you know... fugly as sin ![]()

This is quoted from the interview with Sheryl Chee about Blackwall:
[DA]: How does he become involved with the Inquisition?
[SC]: When the Inquisition tries to get in contact with the Grey Wardens, they find Blackwall. He's traveling on his own, a bit of a loner. But with the world spiraling out of control, Blackwall sees the Inquisition as Thedas's last hope to restore order, and he realizes that he'll probably be able to do more good with its backing than by himself.

Yeah, I think that quote proves that he's distanced himself from the Orlesian Wardens, cause they are most definitely being manipulated. It could be that we find him fighting darkspawn or demons in Adamant.
Well, those of you who ordered The Art of Dragon Age Inquisition on the Kindle should have it on your Kindle now, or very soon depending on when midnight rolls around for you. They really did forget to update the release date for it and it remained Oct 7. It's lovely!
Edited to add: was just letting people know. Please don't post spoilers from it if you got it.

Yeah, I got it myself. I highly recommend it, the concept art and designs are beautiful.
Edit: Now I'm getting to the spoilers. If you don't want to get spoiled, I would avoid the forums already and go on a media blackout.
Adviser: Giving advice.
Advisor: One whose role is advisory, title Advisor.
Ohhh I enjoyed that video, the sound effects from the battle were great, the ambient too. The skill effects look brilliant. I loved seeing the few wild animals just running/hopping about. (It's one of the few times I've been able to watch a you-tube vid from start to finish without pause/streaming forever, I enjoyed it all the more for that
)
I'm never a 100% completionist but it was messing with my mojo that whoever was controlling the party wasn't going everywhere and lifting everything, I know that was deliberate but still grrrrr lol.
I felt like I was looking over their shoulder shouting in their ears:
Me - Go over there please....
Quizzy Controller - *carries on down the path*
Me - Okay..... You must check what's behind those rocks on the right......
Quizzy Controller - *veers left*
Me - Look, there are pick-ups....
Quizzy Controller - *runs right past them*
Me - Arrggghhh!
I just know I'm going to spend more time than is probably healthy just running around areas, I can't wait, getting so excited now ![]()

I'm now picturing him singing "The Wanderer" while traveling ![]()
Wow Solas...you have a death wish just like PW tweets! His music theme is going to have to be 'staying alive'
