I'm torn between wanting to keep as much of the game as possible a total surprise and wanting to spoil myself, utterly and completely.

 

Same.  I wish I hadn't spoiled elements of DA:A and DA2 for myself, but on the other hand, spoiling ME3 took a lot of the nasty sting out of the original endings.  Spoilers are a kind of emotional anesthetic, and they can work both for and against you.

 

...still, I've yet to meet a DA plot where I thought, "Man, that blew.  I wish I'd known ahead of time."  So I'm trying to be good for DA:I.

It's the name and description of a main quest. I'd say it's big, though it's Not really shocking.

I like dragons.  I don't particularly want to have to kill any more.

 

*I* love dragons.  They're giant flying lizards, what could be more beautiful?  We have geckos in my area, and I try to make hiding places on the porches so that they come inside and eat the spiders.  They are so cute!!!  I'd take a dragon any day over a giant spider.  *shudders*  I really hope an arachnophobia mod will be in the works ASAP.

 

My DA characters, however, know exactly how much of a menace dragons really are and aren't afraid to kill them.

Repeating this out of necessity, the user involved keeps quoting himself (and the spoiler) on every page too, so stay away until further notice.

It also reveals the big bad, and his plans, and reveals an enemy faction. It may not be shocking to some, but it IS big stuff.

I realized I had a thing about voices when I first met Garrus, and promptly decided that his voice made the whole "lizard chicken alien" thing irrelevant

I'm not torn at all about who to romance. There is only one character I have any interest in romancing in this game......Cullen.  Sorry, none of the others appeal to me in that way.

I like Garrus a lot, but he's sort of like Varric: I just see him as my buddy, no romantic feelings at all! I have a lot of platonic male friends in real life, so it just feels like that.

 

For the first time I'm really disappointed there will be no DLC characters/romances It would be something to hope for!

Surprisingly, all of the love interests appeal to me in one way or another this time. It's a first for me, there was at least one LI in both DAO and DA2 that I wasn't interested in at all, and several in ME that I never even bothered youtubing. But this time? I want them aaaaaaaaaaaall.

 

But Cullen first. Always Cullen first. I've waited too long to romance this guy, the other LIs will have to do the waiting now.

In my very uneducated and unimportant opinion, I feel they should focus on making the add-on boys romance-able to all races and genders in the year after the game ships  OMG THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME. (Although I suspect there's a reason Solas is only into elves; okay, so just make him like boy elves, too )

I'm actually a little shocked anyone can be sure they know who they're romancing. I mean I can narrow it down by virtue of finally deciding to run fem!qunari first, bu to say "I will definitely go for this specific person" seems odd.

I personally write my characters out before I play them. Who they are, what their motivations are, and of course, who they will romance.

omg, me, too. I love Garrus, and even tried to romance him. It was sweet. It really was, but...I could not get passed..uh..past..pass? uh I couldn't get over the Bro vibe I had already developed for him. Too bad for me, huh? I hear it's a good romance.

Same though I am going to force myself to romance more. Iron Bull is the only one that slightly is tempting me but I'll probably have to do run along games to romance others, just so I can go back to Cullen often lol.
