I'm sure They will
.
I have a thought: do you think companions will get race bonuses too?
I bet Cassandra will get an attack and defence bonus against dragons ![]()
I'm going to romance Iron Bull with elf. That should be intresting enough ^^
I'm having hard time with my qunaris though. Not only with hair but romances too ^^; Skye would be nice for both Cassandra and Dorian but in other hand I don't have option I like for poor Valpur.
To be Fair, I don't think Hawke had personality in every dialogue. There where the one without tones after all.
I'll be fine either way on this regards. My concern about DAI dialogue isn't based on the lack/presence of personality.
I'm sorry you find the voice too Deep for you though.
Hey, maybe I'll get lucky and Jon Curry will pull off a really light and free-spirited sounding voice ^^
The american voice is going to be the standard voice for qunari and dwarves... So, I'm not sure >_>
I mean, if you thought the british voice was already too deep....
And that's what's so silly. Yes, let's pick two really deep voices and completely ruin the point of having two options in the first place! The american voice is going to be the standard voice for qunari and dwarves... So, I'm not sure >_>

I personally like the british voice ^^ I expected him to sound dramatic the entire time after all those trailers.
He now has a bit of Fenris in him. Let the brooding commence!

Yep, we'll just have to see! I envy FemQuisitors; both VAs sound great!
I think Sumalee Montano's voice is fantastic for a Qunari. She did a great job as Nyreen in the Omega DLC. Although it made me sad they killed off her character so quickly. ![]()

Hey, she got the biggest part possible in DAI though!
Shame that we haven't heard her much though :/Hey, she got the biggest part possible in DAI though!

Yeah I dunno why they're being so stingy with some of the voices.

IMO he sounds less deep and more just...rough? Like he's pulled a Gandalf and smoked a bit too much pipeweed or something. I'm a total sucker for voices like that; it's at least more interesting and textured than most male VAs in video games.
I have a feeling the inquisitor is going to be more like the Warden... you have to construct his/her personality in your head. I much prefer characters like Hawke and Shepard, even though it makes it harder to identify with them.

They're good voices for other characters but not necessarily the player character... I mean unless a player identifies with having a rough and rugged voice, which I guess is very possible lol but to have both voices sound like that kind of sucks. You are pretty much pigeon-holed if you play a guy.
Shame that we haven't heard her much though :/
You'll get 100+ hours of her in a month lol

I NEED MORE CULLEN BIOWARE...........
You can get Dragon Age: Origins for free on Origin if you don't have it already.

I liked Hawke, but I had trouble with Shepard from time to time. Hawke's emoting rarely bothered me since I determined the dominant tone that affected dialogue. Sometimes it was out of place, but never more than a line or two. Shepard, especially in ME3, had set dialogue in which the player had no input, not even for tone. That was more of a problem for me.
On the other hand, I'm replaying DA:A now, and the silent Warden is definitely bugging me. The awkward dialogue trees and limited conversation animation make the flow of dialogue feel really stilted and game-y.

So true.
She is also in Guild Wars 2. ![]()
