Sometimes I wonder where they get their ideas for some of the hair styles
Some of it honestly looks like Lego hair:

I wondered the same... I really liked these styles. Maybe they're holding back the good ones as a surprise?
Or day one DLC. lol
I was planning to use the french braid shown on the Dwarven female for my me!Inquisitor if there weren't any others that depict long hair... but I guess I could always go with the bun of steel if all else fails, lol.
Actually, if you look at the head on the top line, 2nd one in on the right.... it looks like the human male hair from the original grey and white heads.
The male human's hair got in at least.
Kinda. It looks thinner and more greasy on the original male human head, but in CC it looks thicker and more styled.
Is that all the hair options for male humans? ... Doesn't appear to have my Hawke's hair, so I think I'll give him the undercut or the one to the left of the red box when he shows up in DAI.
It should be all hair options for all races and genders except qunaris so far as I understand ^^
@Potato Cat - Just realized you said the same thing... derp! lol

Damn, that's a shame.

Those hairstyles are awful. Especially the mullet on one of the Elves. Call me shallow, but having seen them, I am really tempted to cancel my pre-order, and get this game from the 'used' or 'bargain' bin. It's not a cheap game, and from what is being drip-fed to us, I can't see anything that justifies the cost, for me personally. I am not impressed by the LIs (Cullen aside, though I was hoping for Nathaniel, tbh), a lot of what I've seen in the CC looks ugly/awful, and even the game play I've seen doesn't look all that. The toons themselves look spindly and the ones that came over from earlier DA games look ugly compared to their earlier incarnations (poor Cassandra!). Not to mention the female toons apparently having the stupid 'sexy' walk that was so roundly condemned in DA2. And, the ultimate sin, it can't be modded to improve any of those problems. I dunno. Maybe it comes in a lyrium-lined box, or something!
I might be wrong but I just watched the dwarf footage again from last night and I think I saw a style that's not on there, but we didn't get a great look. I hope there are more options for female Inquisitors somewhere. I mean, I have one I'm more than happy with for my Elidri, but more options are never a bad thing.
Yea there might be unique styles as well. But all female human Inquisitors I have seen have had one of styles listed there. I haven't seen hairstyles except qunari that aren't part of the list ^^

They're confirmed the qunari ones seen earlier were it, didn't they?
That really isn't much choice considering other races

Yes they confirmed 4 hairstyles for fem!qunaris. Not sure if male qunaris will have all the same though but surely looks so since they have mohawk one and bald one.
Damn, that's a shame.
If it is, the the only two that look good on a male Inquisitor are second level, second left (the scruffy hair) and second level, far right (the "Ezio"). I'd probably have to see them from all angles, but they at least look good from the front.
And what's up with the top level, third across from left? Is that a mullet? ![]()
Just wow. I'm glad hairstyles aren't a huge deal to me because those are mostly slight variations on 5 or 6 haircuts (there are 8 minor variations on buzzcut-to-bald on the elf alone), and not terribly attractive ones. I'm glad it's possible to really alter the face shapes, etc., because otherwise, it would be really hard for me to create more than 2 or 3 inquisitors who didn't look too much alike. Maybe some of those will look better on different face shapes. I'm probably in the minority, but I'd have settled for a less complex (though easily identifiable) eye color CC for a bit more variety on the hairstyles. Maybe I'll just give most of my Inquisitors buzzcuts because after all, it's a military organization where everyone's supposed to look uniform. ![]()
There could be still other styles but for females so far I have seen 1st (human/dwarf), 5th (human), 6th (dwarf) in the first row. 2nd (elf and dwarf) and 3rd (dwarf) in the 3rd row. First of the fourth row (human). 2nd in the last row (dwarf).
EDIT: I don't think these stills do justice to the styles, they look better closer ^^ Like this:

I think there is some lack of variety. Like those 7 or so buzzcuts (not sure entirely which are just same but in different angle). However compared to qunari hair I'm pretty happy.
Oooh hair conversation!
Thanks whoever lined up all those screenies of each style, hadnt had a good chance to nose at em in the vids as they went by too quick.
I think theres enough styles pleasing to me to keep me entertained through the first few playthroughs. Theres a lot of shaved head variation there, which isnt really for me (im a fan of long curls, but in practical styles, no covering eyes dammit!). I'm sure some clever peeps will figure out how to mod this beast and add more styles ![]()
good morning all! so are those all the hairstyles? not happy with those for the females. I was hoping for more variety with longer hair/ braids and such. Unless I missed those images. that's disappointing.
I love the game so far as far as story, characters, and gameplay but most of the hairstyles truly suck.
How disappointing. I would have thought Bioware could have mastered hair by now,.
