Ok all, just upgraded my graphics drivers and the difference in 3D and textures is amazing...like DAO looks like it has had a tex mod applied. So time to check drivers and make sure your game is beauuuuuutifuul

Don't feel bad. Even when someone pointed it out to me, it took a couple more looks to actually see what they were talking about!

Home, saw the PC specs were posted, and had them vetted by my personal computer adviser (my oldest daughter who helped build the computer). I'm a little short of the recommended specs for the processor and video card, but even those are well above the minimum. My only potential glitch is Win 7 32 bit, but she thinks it'll run fine on low settings until we can put Win 7 64 bit on my desktop at Christmas (you couldn't pay me to put Win 8 or 8.1 on my desktop ).

If we want Afro-textured hair for our black Inquisitors, we get a lot of choice, which is more than I can say for a lot of games, and it's something I might consider for my Esmerelda and Ren.

I started thinking about this, and I've been mentally ruling out PoC by habit because I was so frustrated with trying to produce anyone believable in DAO (darkest skin tone, black hair, and she still looked like someone who spent a lot of time at the beach, sigh). Not Zhenya, but maybe Ryumka...

Yeah, I still want to give Esmerelda the kind of skin tone I originally envisioned her with in the spoiler below. Or hell, even way back when we could only play as human and she was a battle scarred, forty something pro-Templar Katniss. But, now that Josephine is her LI, I don't want them to look too similar, and I fear they will, and knowing Vivienne looks so good, it is really tempting me to try my hand at recreating the face of someone I used to know.
