I saw Crows floating behind Leliana...wasn't she supposed to represent the "Purple Crows"?

So, Cullen's armor is similar to the leak, but also different. No flappy bits and no sword of mercy that I can see.

Yep. That leak about the three factions may be right.

 

Consequently, we have 3 characters that seem to be NPCs in that one shot.

Yup. Cole is the last rogue.

Well, nine of them have weapons, three of them don't. Only nine companions for the Inquisitor. Unless you're suggesting one of the armed ones can be, ah, swapped with Cullen, I am thinking we are out of luck in the companion compartment. 

 

I am just so bloody glad we know now. Or, I suppose, that I'm reasonably sure. What a load off.

 

I dunno about the swapping thing. But I only see 8. *squints at piccy again.* At any rate, I'm just messing with you.

Aha! I bet you're right. So... phew. OK. No surprises... except maybe Cole. If that's who it is. Honestly, kinda surprises me, but then... I'm sure they'll do something interesting with him so he's not in danger of murdering me in my sleep. I mean... heck, we had a spirit from the Fade as a companion in Awakenings, and that worked out well.

It's good to have a definite answer. I feel way better already. Also, this mean my page 1000 fic is totally on track!

I could see him leaving the Order... considering (asunder spoilers)

Lambert takes the whole of the Order with him and Cullen is a Templar that feels like their work is of the Divine. I don't see him rebelling and splitting from the Chantry like the others.

His outfit here looks a lot more ambassador/politician like than I remember his leak outfit being. Granted, leak outfit was tiny and pixelated.

hehehe.... Good. I didn't want you to think I was seriously going "No! He's a companion and you can suck it!" . I typically assume nothing until the devs say it is so.
