One thing that I'm really noticing after watching the war table scene for the umpteenth time--they really don't get along much, do they? I mean, it doesn't seem as though Cullen and Leliana will get along (which makes sense, given their approaches), and Josephine just stays out of it or deflects back to the matter at hand (ever the diplomat...) And so does Cullen, sort of, since he asks about what the Inquisitor thinks about being called the Herald after that kinda uncomfortable moment between Leliana and Cassandra, because they clearly don't agree on the whole "Herald of Andraste" thing.
I'm also REALLY loving the facial expressions and muscle movements that we're seeing here. Like, you don't just have to go off of the dialogue and the inflections anymore! You can see it in their faces and their body language, and I spent most of my rewatches just fangirling over how sexy Frostbite 3 is.
Also, kinda random, but I REALLY love how Cullen asks what the Inquisitor thinks. Not just because he does that, but because of his facial expression while he does it. I kinda get the sense that he's genuinely curious about it, but like I said before, he's also trying to detract away from Cassandra and Leliana (and did anyone notice the look Leliana gave Cass when she said "Which we have not"?!? So awesome! Such a small yet wonderful touch!) and also trying to get a scope on what kind of person the Inquisitor is while remaining friendly (the way he kinda narrows his eyes when he asks, "How do you feel about that?"). Just GAH! THOSE FACIAL EXPRESSIONS. AND THOSE MOVEMENTS. JOSEPHINE WAVING HER QUILL AND PUNCTUATING HER POINTS BY ACTUALLY POINTING HER QUILL. (You can hear and see the punctuation!) Gosh.
