I really hope there isn't DA2's approach to mage and templar war. If there is my quizzy should at least have option to ignore it all. They are there to close the fade breach after all not side with anyone in the stupid war.

I just love how involved Greg is with DA:I and the Cullen fans. I believe he mentioned that he was planning to play the game as well on release?

I thought this was confirmed? Which is why I'm going with Mages, there are rarely compromises in war.

I was talking in general. The mages and the templars were actually willing to Compromise since They Agreed in meeting at the Temple.
As I said though, I understand why we won't be Able to make them reach a truce. We won't have much power at that point, and We probably need them more then They need us.

And if I'm a mage I can be Dalish, wohich would leave me open to being pleasantly surprised by Cullen, while not ruling out Josephine or Blackwall.

I go dark for a while so I don't go crazy waiting and come back to find Cullen looking absolutely perfect and sounding better than ever.

I hope that too, it wouldn't fit to my Hawkes. If it will be after who you sided with in the end then my bloodmage is suddenly pro-templar, my duelwielding rogue pro-templar cause she just wanted to be Viscount and protect city and my sarcastic Hawke pro-mage just cause she wanted to protect mages who were being attacked by templars. It wouldn't fit any of them.

If they confirm no compromise then it will effect what I set up in the Keep.

I'm playing non-human in part to avoid having a real dog in the mage/templar fight. First playthrough is about building as effective an Inquisition as possible.

I think choosing side is what is going to destroy the worlds. Mage freedom? Redcliffe all over again through Thedas. Templars? Tranquil solution to all mages or do we just kill them as childs before they even realise they are mages? Idk, I'd like just to punch who ever leads these groups in their faces and make them sign up peace treaty.
