From what I've seen, it looks like 4 more is the most you can have, so 12 in all. I feel better about the healing since I saw the last couple of gameplay vids done by the devs. I think I can do this...and if I can, so can you. 
And Cullen...I'm just so smitten, it's not even funny. I mean, it really isn't. I did not expect him to be so handsome, or move so naturally. I did expect his voice to give me chills, but I did not expect the confidence and the authority...and the moment when he totally checks the Quizy out? That's going to be a sticking point for my Dalish quizzy. For her, it doesn't really matter whether she's the Herald or not; it could've been Andraste, Flemeth, Mythal, or whatever else in the Fade. But being"Herald of Andraste" comes with a soul-crushing weight of expectations that no person could hope to meet. That upsets her more than anything else.
