All the followers and advisers just sort of stand and look awkward when s/he breaks down for the millionth time that day.
I hope we can at least express this through conversations. Ari is definitely not comfortable with being called Herald of Andraste (because that's an honor reserved for truly great people, such as Andraste herself being the Maker's herald), but if Cassandra calls her out on declining the name, I want to be able to explain, hey I'm Andrastian to the bone I just don't like being granted such an honor for doing nothing worthy of it. Or if I side with Cullen in this first moment (which I totally will, because Ariana is a just regular person and doesn't trust magic yet), I want to be able to explain, hey nothing personal with mages I'm just going with the most sensible decision right now. The more dialogue options we get to avoid a simplistic, binary black/white personality, the better.
Well when Cullen asked how Lavellan felt about being the Herald there were at least four responses. I wish we could have gotten to hear them all!

Interesting, that sounds like a reasonable number of different ways to respond. I'm still going on speculation alone on this kind of thing, because I still refuse to watch these videos. Nothing shall rob me of that precious first playthrough experience! Not even pretty pretty Cullen.

The trailer was really exciting. I can't imagine that anyone could see it who has an even passing interest in traditional fantasy and not want to play DAI. Male Quizzy has stellar buns too but I'm guessing that wasn't really supposed to be the selling point of video.
Now I'm conflicted about what my human's class should be! KE looks so damn cool! Here's my 2 choices
1. A KE human mage, reserved but compassionate and protective of other mages while she grew up in the Circle. She hates the templar's treatment of mages but feels powerless to do anything about it. She finds the "Herald" title amusing at first but sees an opportunity to change how mages are treated in Thedas. Even if she doesn't believe in the title herself ,other people do and she decides to use this to her advantage. She goes from a kind mage with good intentions to someone quite power hungry. After having her title and influence stripped away this new power goes to her head and she loses sight of why she hated the circle system in the first place. She wants full control, no matter what.
Kuvira is who I will model her after.
2. An Artificer/Tempest Human rogue, eccentric and funny, she's the black sheep of the family. She doesn't believe in the Maker and her personal views and her talents as an inventor/scientist were constantly ignored. She felt stifled and frustrated and resented the path her parents tried to force her down. She embraces her new powers and her role as leader of the Inquisition but rejects the title of "Herald" as she's had enough of the Chantry. Because of her love for science she is excited about getting to the bottom of the fade mystery, it's her time to show the world what she's really capable of and helping people along the way doesn't hurt either.
Hanji is who I will model her after (quizzy can even do the grappling hook thing with 2 blades!)
Both will be with Cullen

Yeah Cullen was really gonna make Auren rethink his gut-reaction "all shem are evil and must die" feelings Perhaps a crush from afar can have the same effect 
But it looks like Cass will be very kind towards the inquisitor (after the initial confrontation) so he may develop deep feelings of friendship and respect for her, and she could be the one to change his mind about humans (and his opinion about them is only based on fear and myth anyway).

I thought my Dalish quizzy was going to be terrified of Cass, but she seems to mellow out pretty quickly. I appreciated Josie's reaction to the Dalish quizzy too--in fact, all of the advisors are pretty nice to you considering the situation. Which is definitely good, since at the beginning my quizzy's going to be super jumpy and nervous being around all these strangers who are under the delusion that she's some sort of Herald.

YES. FRIENDSHIP WITH CASS. I seriously believe she and I are gonna be best friends. Once you have her friendship, I see Cass as the type to stick by you no matter what.
