I don't know; it wouldn't be so bad.  Perhaps a little boring but would make sense.  More so than Leliana and him being an item.

I'm really glad that, for all he endured in Kirkwall, Cullen is still the Pro-Templar vote in the Inquisition Privy Council/Cabinet. So glad he didn't just go all "Poor mages, we were wrong to lock them up. We're responsible.". That was my biggest worry for his character.

Part of me thinks they won't get together only because his romance was a recent addition. I doubt they planned to bring back such a popular character like Cullen just to have him hook up with someone else. Especially knowing the type of fandom he has XD. Hopefully it's just a crush like Carver had with Merrill.

Awww, I think that's sweet. They would make a nice couple. Not happening in my first playthroughs, but still. I like that the companions/advisers hook up. It adds to the immersion when not everyone gravitates around the PC.

Well, no, they don't have "lives"; they are characters in a video game. You're not gonna make me feel sorry for them

But I'm an OTP kinda fan; I hate to see one side of my favorite pairing with a different character. Ruins immersion FOR ME. (Really you can add "it ruins immersion" to any argument and it's pretty much a get out go jail free card )
