@CuriousArtemis: did you see Weekes' tweet about Bull's banter with Cole and Solas? Thought you might like that.

It's YT; there are always going to be awful comments lol
Mmhm a sad truth.
Oh and you know a thought just popped in my mind...what ever happened to Finn and that...Elf who I think was an Ancient Elf and a warrior. I believe they were from "Witch Hunt". Do we know if they are going to be in DAI...or have they been forgotten?

Are people really that riled up by that little tweet? It seems to be a joke, but if not...why does it matter? If people are so upset that Josephine is into Cullen when neither of them are in a romance with the IQ...they were the ones who decided not to romance Cullen or Josephine. After all we have seen companions get together when they weren't romance, so it will likely be the same for two of the advisors.
I didn't personally have a problem with it, and I actually like the idea of Cullen having an NPC romance if the Inquisitor doesn't romance him, because I want him to be happy.
That said, given how gated Cullen's romance is, I can see how it would sting a little to have him end up with an NPC if you didn't have the opportunity to romance him with your preferred Inquisitor.

Watching the introduction again, Cullen actually gets a bit speechless before saying "such as they are"
It's subtle but it's an amazing bit of body language that was animated.
He looked a little breathless actually, I could hear the intake of breath...at least I think I did/do.

What topics they talk about. It's on the last page of the Bull thread.

I think his vocal inflections and body language with that line have a lot more to do with his being upset at the loss of troops he's describing than anything about the Inquisitor.
Exactly what I was going to say.

Oh yeah! Have people been interpreting it differently? That's why I love the scene so much. He's just so much more reserved and less... friendly. Something's shaken him. He seems bitter.

Se-ri-ous-ly. I spent the entire first conversation you have with Randval totally not listening to what he was saying and just thinking "...is that Gideon Emery? No way, it can't. Wait, no that's defnitely him. Nah, why is he speaking like that??? omg it's totally him how much did he laugh at this stupid accent in the recording booth tho"
But then I kinda got used to it and by the end it was kinda endearing?
Specially when you take his romance path (which I ended up doing just to see what it was like) and he's all awkward but still adorable.... like a Fenris who'd learned the common tongue with the Fog Warriors.
I could not BELIEVE that was Gideon Emery. I was just...I...that poor man. XD I ended up going with Rhelmar anyway. ![]()

Finding out that your previous epiphany about your life's work turned out to be completely wrong can do that, yes. Or maybe he just didn't want to go with the Order on their merry path of rampage, which would be a point in his favor.

Unless I've been misreading, which is totally possible given how much skimming I've been doing lately trying to avoid spoilers etc., I think there's been some back-and-forth about whether he's reacting shyly / flirtily to meeting the Inquisitor. *shrugs* But yeah, agreed... he seems to have aged a lot since the end of DA2 (in mannerisms, even if they decided the more beat-up-looking concept art didn't work for him in the end). Can't wait to find out what's going on in his head at the start of DA:I.Oh yeah! Have people been interpreting it differently? That's why I love the scene so much. I'm aching to meet him, tbh. Maybe I can't fall in love with him, but hopefully we can still be close, and maybe I can even be a source of comfort for him. It seems like he doesn't get along with the other three too well lol! I can be his bro ![]()

Rhelmar is a cutie, and I love his attitude. I was shipping my Vulcan with him from his first scene, when he dropped that line about keeping his pointy ears sharp.
I'd love to bring him (and Randval too, he's like a cute eager labrador) over to the world of Dragon Age to see how they'd fare. Maybe I can headcanon that Vertiel is in another continent of the same world as Thedas, hmmm. Somewhere where that elven pride of his still thrives.

Aaah but Tomb Raider is so good, you won't regret it. I couldn't put that game down once I started it, the atmosphere kept pulling me back to finish the story. At least you'll be so immersed in the game you'll lose a few days not thinking about how it's not Nov 18 yet. ![]()

THIS. I've been drawn back in to play it a second time... and drool at how much better my new rig's graphics are than the first time I played it. W00t! Come on, Nov 18!

I didn't get a flirty vibe at all from Cullen in the video, myself. He was personable but I didn't get the feeling he was anything beyond professional.
That'll come later.

Hmm it has been a while since I played that DLC...but I remember she had some kind of special ability or lost her memory...idk what, I just wished that some of the characters that we traveled with came back. Especially those from the Awakening expansion.
